Chapter 15

Riley's POV:

" Well let me start from the beginning. He blindfolded me as soon as we got to the car telling me that he had a surprise and he wanted to show me it while he was holding my hand not as we drove up to it. It was so beautiful. It was an older looking house that had a beautiful string of lights draped across the front of the porch, and an old grandma swing was sitting on the side of the porch. He then took me inside and the first thing that I saw was a chandelier hanging down right in the front. We kept walking and I couldn't believe all the decorations he had put up there were candles and lights and hearts it looked like he had spent a lot of time putting it together. We finally got to the kitchen and I saw a bag of ingredients from a grocery store sitting on the counter and pans were all over the stove. I ran over and gave him a hug and he told me that you told him I loved to cook and that he thought we could cook our first meal together. So we made homemade meatballs- his mom's recipe and they were really good- and spaghetti of course and then we made homemade bread and let's just say it was an amazing experience to have with him. We then made my cupcakes cause I'm the nest and then we ate and he took me home." I told Anna not wanting to get to far into detail about what happens after dinner or in between making food and cooking it. It was definitely the best first date I have ever been on. He was so loving and a sweet and made me feel at home. " you are kidding me right!" Anna practically yelled at me, " I know that's not all the details come on what else happen." " nothing else it doesn't matter I promise." I told her trying to get her off my back. "I' tired I'm gonna go to bed i'll see you in the morning." I told her as I ran up the stairs trying to avoid talking to her about it. " Fine goodnight, I'll figure out how to get it out of you" she yelled up the stairs. After sending a text to Jamie saying goodnight, my phone buzzed in my hand saying I was getting a call from Tyler. After talking for a little while I guess I had fallen asleep because when I woke up I noticed that I was still on the phone with Tyler and he was snoring softly into the phone. I guess he had fallen asleep too! I decided to let him sleep a little bit longer and was thinking about our date when I heard him start to talk to someone. "Jamie what's up." I couldn't hear the other side of the conversation and I guess he didn't realize that I was still on the phone. "Yeah I was up late talking to Riley last night. I really like her, I can't wait to see her again. Do you think I should invite her to practice and you, me, Anna, and Riley can go out and then I want to taker her to the special place." I hear him tell Jamie. "Yeah I'll call her right after I take a shower, today is gonna be an amazing day I can just feel it." I hear his door close and to my surprise Tyler starts to sing while moving along his room. I decided then that it would be a good idea to hang up the phone and I ran to go take a shower myself. As soon as I finished my shower,I heard my phone ring and without looking at the caller i.d. Expecting it to be Tyler I answered the phone. "Hello?" "You did not get away from me. I know where you are in Texas and expect my presence very soon. You will always be my slave." The voice on the phone said. Immediately I knew who it was. I was not safe in Texas and I knew it!
