Chapter 25

Riley's POV:

I walked over to Tyler and noticed that tears were coming down his face, making me feel horrible. It felt as if days had passed as I slowly made my way to Tyler unaware about what he might do. As I got to him, I waited for him to say something and instead, I felt his lips connect to mine in a hungry manner. After kissing for the first time in months I was surprised that my body still reacted to his touch. I was on fire and sparks flew through me like the Fourth of July. After what felt like hours we finally broke apart and the look on his face gave it all away. He looked like a little boy ok Christmas who had just gotten exactly what he wanted, and I was immediately great fun that i wasn't the only one with these feelings. I finally decided to speak up and start apologizing for leaving him hoping it would help us reconnect better. "Tyler I am so sorry for leaving you I honestly thought that since I was being threatened that you would do something stupid and then I would have lost the person that I loved because I homes toy love you to death. You make me so happy and I'm so sorry for leaving. I know that it was hard for you because Anna told me all about what happened and I'm sorry I said I didn't want you to contact me because I swear you were in my thoughts all day. You were the first thing I thought about when I woke and the last thing I thought about when I went to sleep. I know that's like the cheesiest line ever but it's true. You mean the world to me and I'm so sorry." I started to ramble and I couldn't help myself. I didn't mean to tell him i loved him brut it just came out and I'm glad it did but i couldn't see Tyler's expression and honestly it scared me did he not love me? Maybe coming back wasn't a good ideas after all." I'm sorry I'll just leave now and let you get ready for your game just know that I'm cheering you on and I will always love you. Im very sorry for all I have do everything" and with that I ran out of the room and ran right into a man with strong arms. Looking up I saw that the entire team was looking at me with worried faces and after apologizing, I ran into Lindys office and cried my heart out until I couldn't cry anymore.

Tyler's POV:

When she told me she loved me I was taken aback and in shock. I couldn't hear anything else all I could hear was she was telling ,e she loved me. She loved me! It was a few minutes before I got out of ,my trance and I saw Riley running away from me crying and I couldn't move. What happened between the two of us did she say she wanted to break up? Before I could run after her a very pissed off Jamie and Lindy come into the room and walk over to my stall. " dude what the fuck did you do to Riley?" Jamie asked me in the calmest voice he could, but I could tell he was pissed beyond compare. " I have no ideas Jame she told me she loved ,me and I just spaced out until I saw her running away I swear all I could hear her say was she loved me and I just went away I could hear anything else she said." I replied trying my best to hold it together, damn I was turning mushy. " She said she loved you that's awesome. She wouldn't tell any of us what's wrong but I know she didn't leave the building. How about we win this game for her and then we find her! You to are so gonna get married and have kids!" " oh shut up Chubs let's just win this for her and find her so I can tell her how I feel" this day just went from wonderful to bad and I had no idea how I was going to fix it. As we went on the ice for the game, I knew exactly what I had to do and I was going to do anything to get her back into my life.
