Chapter 11

Anna's POV:

"Well Anna and I have a surprise for you guys," Riley says, "we are moving to Dallas! We both have a residency at Baylor University Medical Center. We are going to look for a new apartment next week!" "Are you guys serious?" Jamie asks me. "No she not serious, it's a complete joke." I reply with sarcasm in my voice. "YES! This makes dating you so much easier." Tyler says to Riley, causing all of us to laugh and he gives me a glare causing me to stop. "You do realize that we are going their to work right? We won't have much time to fool around during shift." I tell them. "It doesn't mean we won't get to see you though." Tyler says, "Besides you wouldn't have to work I can pay for everything you can move into my house, it will be great." He says looking at Riley. "Tyler that's such a great idea! We just met each other and haven't even gone on a first date and know I;'m gonna live with you!" Riley says sarcastically. "Tyler we aren't even really dating and besides this is what Anna and I have wanted to do our entire lives. I want to do this." She says. "Okay guys that's enough, I can't stand anymore sarcasm." Jamie says. After giving hugs and Tyler giving Riley a kiss, the boys head off to the airport to head back to Dallas seeing as the season was ending with playoffs ending in a few weeks. Since it is late May Boston had beautiful weather and I decide to go for a walk shortly after the boys leave. I walk towards Quincy Market and decide that I need some good old New England clam chowder. As I sit and enjoy what may be my last time being in Boston in the summer time, I open my phone to see that I have gotten a few texts. I open the first one from Riley that tells me she is going grocery shopping for our last week here as well as printing our tickets and booking our flights for Dallas After telling her thank you, I open the next text from my mom. After replying to her, I open the text from Tyler. "Hey A, I just wanted to say thank you for helping me out with Riley. I appreciate all you have done for me! Since our deal was if you help me I will help you now! Love you little sis- Segs" I immediately start to freak out we didn't have any deal what did he mean by that. Answering him I say "Segy-boy what the hell do you mean? We never had a deal I just decided to help you when you told me you problem. Your welcome by the way! I don't want you to do anything stupid and if you do wait till I'm in Dallas and we can talk about it. I love you too big brother!- Anna" After texting everyone back I realize I have been out for and hour and decide to head back and make dinner. When I get back I see Riley in the kitchen putting away the groceries while facetiming someone. "Stop! I hate you so much right now!" "No you don't you love me!" I hear Tyler and Riley banter. I then head over to yell at Tyler. "Tyler that's my line you don't get to steal it!" Riley then laughs while Tyler has a confused look on his face."She's right, we always used to say that when she got me into hockey! You can't use it we trademarked it" Riley replies while laughing. Tyler then nods his head as he realizes this is one of the many stupid things we do. After talking for a few more minutes we hang up and decide to just order Chinese food and watch movies as we do. After dinner and a few movies we realize that it's almost midnight and decide to go to bed. Before I go to sleep I see a message from Jamie saying that he safely landed and can't wait to see me soon. As I read his message I got butterflies in my stomach causing me to start to squeal. As I go to sleep, I know that moving to Dallas was the second best decision I have ever made in my life next to becoming great friends with Riley. Thinking about all the great times between the two of us I can't wait to see what will happen when we get to Dallas! This is gonna be such a great adventure. As I sleep I know that the decision to leave Boston is gonna be a good one!
