Chapter 14

Anna's POV:

Tyler and Riley were definitely the cutest couple I have ever seen. After the game we went back to the locker room so that they could go on there date and immediately I felt jealous. Why can't I find someone who loves me like Tyler loves Anna. Even though they just started to go out you could see the love and joy in his eyes when she smiles, talks, or even just walks into the room. Riley has the same expression that he does and I know that they are gonna last a long time. I didn't realize I was staring at them when Jamie interrupted my thoughts. "They are such a cute couple don't you think?" "Yeah. I hate to admit it but I'm so jealous of what they have I can't wait till I find something like that." I replied to him. After talking about Riley and Tyler for a few more minutes I decided to head home, saying I was tired and had to unpack some more. As soon as I got home I texted Jamie like I promised and decided to go to our Viewing room with the dogs and turn on the replay from tonight's game. After watching recaps and watching some more TV I decided it was time to go to bed and took the dogs with me. I fell asleep with both dogs in my bed and after what felt like sleeping for only5 minutes I heard Riley come in. After jumping out of bed and yelling down the stairs for her to wait for me, I ran down the stairs as fast as I could and went to the kitchen. "OMG how did it go where did he take you? Tell me tell me tell me!!" I yelled at her. "Calm down please. I just walked in the door let me get some water and sit down my feet are killing me. Just give me 5 minutes and I'll tell you everything okay." She replied to me and with a smirk on my face I let her get a bottle of water from the fridge and walk towards our living room. Sitting on one of the loveseats she kicks off her shoes. Finally she begins to talk to me "Well let me start from the beginning..."

Jamie's POV:

The game went really well and I Thought Tyler and I had amazing games passing the puck going back on defense and helping every time we were needed. As we were bumping fists, I saw Tyler steal a quick glance up to the suite and saw Riley and Anna cheering and hugging everyone. While looking up I noticed how nice Anna looked in my number and the smile that was on her face was one of the cutest things I have ever seen in my life. I was knocked out of my trance when I heard Tyler yelling my ame. "Jamie dude stop starring at Anna and just ask her out. I was talking to Riley the other day and she was telling me how much Anna likes you." "Tyler you don't get it she is so amazing and I want to ask her out I just don't know how to." "I don't get it? I had the same problem with Riley and who helped me? Anna did, her best friend. You should ask Riley to help you out ask her tomorrow when they come to practice. Riley told me she wanted to learn how to skate so we are going to skate after practice. I can have her bring Anna and I will occupy Anna while you talk to Riley it's the perfect plan." "I guess that could work. Don't you have a date to get ready for?" "Yeah I do let's go inside I have to get ready to go." After heading inside I change quickly and hang out with Anna for a while before she has to leave to go home. I then say goodbye to the boys and go to see Coach before I leave. "Hey coach you wanted to talk to me?" "Hi Jamie yes I did. First great game today! Second I noticed that you and Tyler are on the front page of the newspaper with 2 girls.Who are they?" "Are you kidding me?! Crap! The girl with Tyler is Riley they are dating and the girl I'm with is Anna. We met them when we were in Boston. Riley is the one who has the Black Mustang." "Well I wanted you to know that Riley is related to my wife." "What how?" "Riley's Uncle is my brother-in-law and he called me to ask me to watch over her and her friend Anna. He told me that Riley has been through a lot with boyfriends and that if anyone hurt her that my job was to make sure she didn't go to a dark place again. Tell Tyler that tomorrow before you guys bring the girls on the ice, we all need to have a talk. Riley doesn't know we are related because she had a bad break up right before the wedding and we never actually got to meet. Riley hasn't seen her aunt in over 4 years so I'm gonna bring her here tomorrow as well." "I promise that we won't hurt the girls because we really like them. I'll make sure that we come up here before we all go for a skate." After leaving Coach's office I head home and think about what he said. I guess I got lost in thought because I heard Tyler come in and ask me what I was doing up. I jumped up and started to ask him how the date went. "Tell me tell me how did it go? Did she like it? Are you guys still dating?" "Jesus dude calm down I just got home." After Tyler grabbed a water bottle from the fridge, we went to the living room and sat down on the couches. After what felt like minutes he finally began to talk. "Well....."
