Chapter 33

Riley's POV:

Spending the day shopping with my best friend and my sister couldn't have gone any better. We found the perfect dress, it was red and had a sweet heart neckline. Of course Maggie convinced me to get a necklace to go with so I choose a simple diamond necklace that cost almost as much as my favorite pair of heels. As we walked out of the store I was met by a man standing in front of a limo with our names in it. "Hi are you Mr. Seguins lovely girlfriend?" The driver asked me. " I hope so," I say in a sarcastic manner, "otherwise there might be a problem." Everyone laughed at that comment as we got into the car. On the seat closest to the other passenger side door was another rose and note awaiting my arrival. I smell the rose before picking up the letter and beginning to read it.

The Love Of My Life,

I'm glad to see you didn't put up a fight for me using my money on you. My driver, Tom, is going to take you somewhere very special to meet me. I promise the whole day will definitely be worth it and I just want to let you know how much i truly love you. I can't wait to see you in your new dress.

As I was reading the letter I was trying super hard not to cry. He always seems to find a way to make me tear up. I wipe my eyes and am about to say something to Maggie an Ana when I realize they aren't there and instead there is another note next to me. "God why do these people always make me want to cry."

Baby sister,

Today has been a great day and I am so glad that Tyler got me to come. I want you to know that he does indeed love you so much. If someone goes as far as to get ME out of the pool for you they definitely have a reason for being in your life. I know it was a while ago since I had last seen you and i promise you will see me again soon. I want you to know how proud of you I am in everything you do. You reach for your dreams and I reach for mine, but knowing that you were there watching me win that gold like we ha always dreamed as kids was the highlight of everything for me. Don't ever think I forget about you because we have that special bond that can't be broken. I will always love you.

P.S. We had to leave you to finish this journey in your own but we will see you again soon I promise.

As I am finishing the letter Tom lets me know that we are here and as he opens my door I see a bunch of my family and friends smiling at the end of a red carpet. I walk out and look for Tyler but he is no where to be seen. As I get to my family and friends I am pulled into hugs and giver roses from everyone. I finally get to my dad and I see that he is crying: my dad never crys. "Dad why are you crying come on. I'll always be your little girl ok" we both laugh and finally there is no one left so my mom says "Keep following the red carpet and he will be waiting for you." I walk down the rest of the carpet and see Jamie, Ana, Maggie, and finally Tyler standing at the end with smiles on there faces. As soon as I get over there everyone but Tyler gives me a hug and leaves. All of the sudden Tyler does the most unexpecting thing.
