Chapter 8

Tyler's POV:

As we are playing mini golf with the girls, I see Jamie talking to Riley and know that now would be a perfect time to talk to Anna about her. After a while Anna finds out that I really like Riley but I make her promise to me that she won't tell her. I'm not ready for those feelings to come out just yet. While we are talking about school, Riley comes over looking a bit pissed off and says she has to go home saying she has homework to do. "Okay let me just go return this stuff." "Don't worry about it Anna I'll just drive myself home have the boys drop you off." Ana agrees with Riley and off she goes. While she walks away I Can't help but stare at her thinking how on earth someone that beautiful is single. After finishing our mini golf Anna tells us the address to drop them off at and we are there after only a few minutes. As soon as we pull up, I see a guy pushing Riley into the door while is going through her bag. Jamie and I both tell Anna to stay in the car and not to come out until we tell her too. After Pulling out the keys he opens the door and is about to close it, but before he can Jamie and I pull him off of her and I punch him in the nose before he can register what is happening. After punching him i let Jamie Take care of him and I go over to a crying Riley. After pulling her to my lap I let her cry into my shirt until she finally falls asleep. Anna tells me which room is hers and I go put her in her bed and head back downstairs to wait with everyone else for when she wakes up. "Anna do you know who that was?" I ask her frantic to find out why she wasn't fighting back. "I have no idea who that was at all actually. I've never seen him before." Anna replies. We then all hear a voice say "That's because I ever told you about him." We see Riley come down the stairs on the verge of tears again.

Riley's POV:

"Anna do you know who that was?" I hear Tyler ask Anna. "I have no idea who that was at all actually. I've never seen him before." Anna replies. I then but in and announce my presence by saying "That's because I ever told you about him." Before I can make my way over to the couch, Jamie comes over to me and engulfed me into a hug carrying me over to the only empty seat. "Riley are you okay? We thought you were asleep. Who was that? Are you hurt?-" Jamie asks me. "Jamie I'm okay for now. I was asleep but I got cold when Tyler left me so I figured I would come downstairs." I Told him hoping to calm down his nerves. "Riley who was that and what do you mean you never told me about it. We told each other everything." Anna says to me. "I didn't want to put the burden of my problems on you so I never told you. I figured if you found out you wouldn't want to be my friend anymore. I haven't told any him actually. I thought moving away would get me away from him I don't know how he found me." I explain through the tears that just keep coming down my face. "Riley I would never leave you. Can you tell me now?" Anna says as she comes over to comfort me. "I guess." after taking a deep breath i start "It started our senior year of high school.."
