Tyler POV:
In the few short weeks following Riley's amazing swims we were busy planning all of the wedding details and finally setting a date. We knew that we had to find the perfect time for both of us and our careers so we decided that next summer was going to be the big day. Today was finally the day that I had been regretting since finding out that Riley had made the Olympics, today she would leave me for Colorado. It was a bittersweet goodbye knowing that she would get to meet up with her good friends and train, but I knew that this is what she needed to do to be the best. I am currently packing the car ready to bring her to the airport where I left her a little surprise, knowing that she would need a pick me up very soon.
Riley POV:
As Tyler is packing the car I begin to write the letter I want to leave him to remind him that know matter what happens he will always be my number one.
My loving fiance Ty,
I can remember the first time I had dreamed of becoming an Olympian, relishing in the fact that maybe one day I would be able to represent my country. As a little girl finding her footing in the world all I needed was that little push to know that I could do it. Know almost 20 years later, my dreams are all coming true except for one. I dreamed that one day I would marry a swimmer who would also be joining me on this trip and would swim alongside me. Instead, however, I have found someone even better and that is you Ty. You make my life complete in very way and I don't know if I could be here without you today. While I won't be gone for long I know that every minute I won't be with you will be the longest minute of my life. So to help you remember me in times when I won't be able to answer your calls, I have made you a photo album. In the closet there is also a bag of little gifts I have left for you for everyday that we are not together. Ty I love you so much and I am ecstatic thinking about seeing you cheering me on wearing my name on the back of your shirt. So along with this note I have left a shirt for you on the bed which I expect to see you wearing when I see you next. I love you so much!

I leave the note on the bed along with the t shirt that I had made that says my last name on the back. Reluctantly I close the door and head out to the car pausing to stare at my soon to be husband leaning against the car looking at his phone. As if he knows I am staring he looks up from his phone and flashes me a smile before opening my car door and gesturing fro me to get in. Wow this is going to be a rough couple of weeks.
