Damon's home stood at the very edge of town, right before the woods began. One would almost miss the structure if they hadn't been looking for it. It's black roof mixed with the darkness of the world hung over the rest of the grey house with a sort of gloom Kenny couldn't place but, he knew it was there. It was almost dreadful, all by it's lonesome in the far corner of the world.

"Do you want to come in and wait for me to get washed up?"

"Yeah I'll wait." Kenny smiled and followed Damon into the somber house.

Damon slipped out of his shirt and tossed it to the side, "I just have to wash my face and I'll be back."

Kenny nodded and looked away from Damon,"That's fine..."

Damon slipped off his belt and dropped it to the ground, "make yourself at home."

Kenny sat on the couch as Damon made his way to what he assumed to be the bathroom.

The walls of the home were blue-grey, matching the desolate house. Deep red curtains covered the windows and all the furniture was black. What kind of man was he going on a date with?

"Don't mind the gloom," Damon said from the bathroom as he scrubbed his face, "Im not home that much."

"Its fine" Kenny smiled and relaxed against the back of the couch.

The sound of running water filled Damon's ears as he scrubbed the remaining grim from his face. He ran his hand down his jaw line and felt the stubble growing along his face. Quickly, he made his way to his room and grabbed his black jeans. As he put the pair of pants on he dug through his closet for a nice shirt. When he found a red button up he slipped it over his shoulders.

Once everything was buttoned, Damon walked out into the living room and pulled at his collar, "you ready?"

Kenny nodded and stood up, "Yeah. Where are we going?"

"A restaurant" Damon said sarcastically.

"Oh really?" Kenny rolled his eyes.

"Just trust me. Its gonna be great."
