Chapter 11 - The Ceremony

Talia's POV

Today was the day!!! I'm getting my tattoos. I got my tattoos and now it's was only the ceremonial revealing.

~~~ later in the day at the ceremony

Tenzin stood just to the back spreading the fragrance around the stage and as I knelt down in the middle of the stage. The relaxing and familiar smell of sandalwood filling the room of everyone from my family to the air acolytes, even Fore Lord Zuko. Rows upon rows were seated sitting down. I was soooo nervous, no words could be compared to what I was feeling.
I mean I'm an eleven-year-old. I knelt down as dad stood above me and said about welcoming the newest and youngest ever air bending master, and a speech about bringing back the air nation, and bringing it back into our future before he lifted my hood and I stood up unclipping the cloak. I turned and hugged dad. The light jingling of the wind chime hanging from the wooden structure, adding to the already authentic atmosphere. Everyone applauded as I turned back facing the front.
Whew that's over now the more socialising part, great.
Me, Miki and Sue took off into the woods to play, Tenzin and Lin ran off somewhere else. Ohhhh idea!!

"Guys!" I said as we were walking through the trees.
"Yeah?" Miki asked as she turned around.
"Shall we go and spy on our two favourite love birds?" I questioned with a smirk. This was going to be fun.
"Hmmmm, I don't know shall we?" Sue asked with as much of a playful smirk as me.
"Umm ...Guys, are you sure about this"
"You don't have to come if you don't want to Miki" I stated as we turned around and started to walk in the direction they went.
"Soooo where do you think they went."
"Hmmm, somewhere private, and probably off the ground so your mum can't catch them out. And far enough away so my mum doesn't notice and go all fangirl mode" we snickered at the last part.
"So they are probably in a tree" I nodded and looked around.
"Can you do you wowed air sensing thing?" Sue asked, I smirked.
I sat down in the lotus position and began to float. I consorted and followed the air around concentrating on where they are. I also used the light around to help identify the location.
I opened my eyes and smirked,
"Got them"
"Let's go!"
I led her to where they where, we snuck up a nearby tree, we climbed and swung up to a branch a couple above them.
Me and Sue sat down feet swinging, holding in our laughter at there snuggling. I knew it!!
I leant over to sue and whispered "I'm gunna find mum" I said with a smirk.
She nodded and looked down again swinging her legs. I flew off the branch and silently made my way back to the main quad.

"Mum! mum!"
"Yes Talia" she replied as I ran towards her, she was talking to Toph, Sokka and Dad.
"Guess what!"
"What is it honey"
"Me and sue fou-"
"SUE!!!! Ugh!! Get back here" o heard from a distance, I flinched that was a very angry Lin.
I tried to contain my giggles when I saw Sue running in being chased by a very angry Lin, as I silently slipped away. As I was about 2 metres off the ground going to the roof I heard Sue say. 
"It was Tally's idea!" As Lin was about to get her. 
"No it was not!" I shouted as I stopped and floated.

"Okay Girls! Calm down, what is going on." Mum aid as she out her hands in between Sue and Lin.

"Tenzin and Lin are dating!" I screamed quickly as I knew they where both going to be annoyed that I said that. Oh well. Then I flew off to the roof to watch it unravel. Hehe.
