Chapter 18 - Packing

3rd Person

The winter solstice was coming up which meant the glacial spirits festival was soon to start, and the whole family, apart from Bumi who was meeting them there, was getting ready to go to the glacial spirits festival at the southern water tribe.
Talia was packing a mixture between water tribe clothing and clocked, long sleeved air nation robes.
She packed a nice pale blue high collared dress with a grey rim that had a turquoise-blue colour flat gem stone in the middle, hanging off of it was a patch of fur, it also can with a slightly darker shade of blue, cloak with a fur rimmed hood that was for the actual evening of the solstice as that was the end of the festival and the main part.
She planned to wear her Airbending robes there as they were cooler and airier for the journey.

The family intended to merry Bumi at the docks the day of the solstice, as they would be arriving two days earlier that the start of the festival in the evening, as Aang was the avatar.

That didn't need to pack much as they would only be staying 5 nights then going back home again.
"Lunch!" Katara shouted down the corridor which had all the doors leading to their bedrooms off of it.
Each person slowly got up and opened their door. Talia first eager to eat and excited about the festival, then Tenzin casually and calmly and finally Kya, being the teenager she is, desperate to get out of the house and looking forward to the day she turns 18 and can be independent and move out.
They all went down stairs and sat at their own pace. Talia and Tenzin in airbending robes, similar to their fathers, and Kya in a casual, shirt sleeved water-tribe dress not dissimilar to their mothers.
They had a brief lunch bridge double checking their luggage and leaving it by their bedroom doors ready for later that evening to take to Appa, their dad's flying bison.
Talia, could not wait to get her own bison, bus at the moment there just were it enough.
Talia and Tenzin had been on journeys and trips on Appa before. They rode him to Kyoshi island to meet up with Miki once and ride the elephant koi fish and go to the southern air temple, to see where their father grew up.

They all had a few hours of relaxation before they needed to leave so Talia went to explore the other side of the cliffs. She never had the time to freely explore this area of the coast line becaus before she hid her bending, and then had been busy with training in both elements.
So Talia flew over the edge and exploring along the cliffs, looking for any more caves or hidden a read that might spike her interest.

A few hours passed and before they knew it  they had to pack the luggage on Appa before leaving and fly down to the south.
