Bumi had not long left and the attention given to Kya from their father decreased and Talia had been getting more, as well as Tenzin. Their mother became an even busier healer and had to take regular visits and trips to South Pole generally staying for a week or 2. Most of the time of Kya left air temple island to hang out with friends in republic city, and would sometimes occasionally go to the South Pole.

Today Kya was out and SuYin and Talia were going to hunt down Tenzin and Lin while they were on a date together, Talia and Sue wanted to crash it. They couldn't find them in any restaurants in the part of town that was closest to were they both lived or at any parks, so they decided to get ice cream before heading to Sue's. But there they saw Kya and her friends.
"Hey Sue" Talia said as she saw Kya not far away.
"Yeah?" Sue inquired turning around after receiving her ice cream from the man.
"I'm gunna say hi to Kya, I'll meet you back at your place later" Sue nodded and walked off back to her house, as Talia ran over to Kya.

Talia's POV

"Hey Kya!" I said cheerfully as Kya groaned.
"Hey Talia!" Kya said with fake enthusiasm laced with a small sneer, I wonder why? "What do you want" she said rather rudely, as she was trying to get rid of me.
"I just came to say hi" I said shyly and quietly, looking down.
"Well why don't you go say hi to your friends" she said liking down at me, as she paused "oh! Wait!" She said dramatically. "You don't have any!" She said right in my face I backed up. "Yiur always with daddy" she said daddy with a baby voice. Kya and her friends laughed at me as I turned around and ran to the docks forgetting about my ice cream which I discarded and dropped on the way.

I flew back to air temple island, straight round the coast to the cliffs and my cave, in there I sat down in the very back in the corner. It was dark so I made a small ball of light hover just in front of me. I sat down and brought my knees to my chest.

I told my self repeatedly in my head, I'm not a baby, I'm I dependant and strong. Breath. Calm. Nothing wrong. I composed my self, washed my face, by splashing some fresh water from a puddle in the cave and flew back to republic city, to Sue's house.
I landed at their doorstep, knocked and waited. I smiled as not 2 seconds later sue opened the door and led me inside.
"What took you so long?" She said jokingly as she turned around to shut the door.
"I had to drop something off at home quickly" I replied, and laughed and ran to her room.
