"You want it? Cause it's all yours" I smirked glancing at her before turning my eyes back to the road. I don't know where all her boldness was coming from. I swear virgins be having the freakiest minds.

"It's probably not all that" she mumbled looking directly at me.

"You gon find out" I laughed.

"Oww Jesse take it out it hurts" Ameenah whined.

"If you relax it won't hurt as bad" I tried to explain to her but she doesn't listen.

"Just hurry up and take it out" she demanded.

"I'm trying to pull it out slowly but you keep moving" I explained making her stop moving.

"My head hurts" she complained. We were kissing and shit then her hair got tangled in my chain I had around my neck. My mouth fell open when she got free but some of her hair was on the chain.

"I didn't do that you did" I said quickly before she could say anything to me.

"At least that was the weave and not my real hair" she breathed out checking the top of her hair out.

"I thought that was yours"

"If that was my natural hair, I would've cried" she admitted making me laugh. I don't know why females were so crazy over hair like it doesn't grow back.

"It's just hair, I don't know why y'all females get crazy over it" I said while taking off my chain. I managed to untangle most of the hair from off it but somewhere still stuck.

"Shutup" she said before getting up off the bed.

"Where you going, come sit back down"

"No cause you can't keep you hands to yourself" she laughed leaving my room. I got up and followed after her.

"You act like you don't like that shit"

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't" she shrugged.

"Why were you mad earlier anyways" I asked changing the subject, she probably thought I forgot about that.

"Something that Toni-Ann did bothered me but I'm good now" she said stuffing a fry in her mouth. We had stopped to get some Chick-fil-a before coming to my house.

"What she do?" I asked confused. Toni and Ameenah had been getting along really good since she came here so I was surprise they had problems.

"She told my dad I was with you that night I slept over because she was jealous according to Symone" she said looking annoyed with the whole situation.

"She snitched? What's up with her? She been acting funny?"

"There is so much more to the story I have to tell you"

"I'm all ears baby" I said taking a seat. I watched as she look in deep thought probably wondering where to start.

Symone

I walked in the house with Toni and was taken by surprise when I saw Regina sitting on the couch. I was taken by surprise again when I walked further into the livingroom and saw my mom sitting there.

"Where's Ameenah?" Regina asked looking behind us expecting her to walk in.

"Maybe she stayed after school for this new tutoring program" I shrugged trying to cover for her. I knew that Ameenah had left with Jesse.

"Or maybe she's somewhere with her boyfriend she can't stay apart from for two minutes" Toni said with an attitude. I gave her a look wondering what the hell was her problem with Ameenah all of a sudden.

"Hey mommas babies" she smiled standing up and walked towards us. Toni walked past her and ran up stairs. I just stood there in place not knowing what to say or do.

"She hates me" she mumbled.

"She doesn't hate you" Regina said as she rolled her eyes. You could tell they didn't want to be around each other.

"Symone look how big you got, I see you got some meat on your hips" my mom said trying to make conversation.

"Yeah I just started getting big out of nowhere"

"Everybody in our family has them hips, its in your genes" she smiled.

"Mom why didn't you tell me?" I asked not being able to hold the question in anymore. For years I have wondered who my dad was and she knew all along.

"Tell you what?" She asked.

"Who my father was? You always lied and said you didn't know" I frowned. Growing up a lot of the girls I knew teased me because they had both parents in their life.

"I was already a disgrace, people judging me because I did drugs and couldn't take care of my kids" her voice cracked as she spoke signaling she was about to cry.

"Mom don't cry please" I said stepping closer to her.

"I was scared, if I would've told everyone that my sisters husband was the father of my child they would've completely disowned me"

"Why did you do it? Grandma said that you too were so close, why let a man get in between that" I asked.

"There's a lot more to the story" Regina said speaking up.

"A lot like what?" I pressed trying to get an answer out of her.

"There's just somethings you don't need to know" she said taking a deep breath.

"Why haven't we seen you in so long?"

"I've been trying to get clean and stabilized but everytime I try, I fall right back in it"

"You could come live here, we could help you mom" I stared tearing up. Not having my mom around most of my life really messed with me.

"You don't want a druggie living with you. I don't want you to see me like that baby" she smiled threw her tears and held my face.

"I don't care"

"You and your sister have grown to be beautiful young ladies and I'm sorry I fucked up as a parent" she broke down.

"You're here now that's all that matters" I smiled. I was tired of being mad all the time at my mother, I just wanted her in my life.
