I pulled away from my kiss with Jesse and smiled before looking out onto the city. We were sitting on the trunk of his parked up. He had brought me to some cliff the looked out onto the city. It really helped to clear my head because it was quiet and secluded.

"So what's going on with you?" Jesse asked snapping me out of my thoughts. I shrugged not really knowing the answer to that. I knew my dad would never allow me to stay.

"I feel like leaving would make only make me resent my parents more and staying would cause so much drama between everyone" I spoke honestly knowing I didn't want to be around my parent right now. I just found out something that changes everything.

"Do it help that I want you to stay?" He bumped my shoulder.

"Sort of now what's your issue, you look like your minds all over the place" I asked bringing my feet up but I slid them back down when he gave me a look.

"My sister did some dumb shit that she can't turn around from" he said clenching his jaw. I could tell whatever it was made him angry.

"What happened?" I asked not sure if that was the right thing to do. Maybe he didn't want to talk about it.

"She got a video" he mumbled looking away from me.

"A video?" I asked confused on what he was talking about. What was so bad about his sister making a video. Was she twerking on it or something?

"Yeah you know a...video" he said putting an extra emphasis on the word video.

"What video would...oh...wow" I didn't know what else to say or how I would help him. I don't know what I would do if I had a little sister that had a video of exposing herself.

"Yeah, I feel like I have to be her dad sometimes. My mom don't do shit and now she wanna act surprised when her daughter being a hoe"

"Don't talk about your sister like that, I know you mad but she's obviously just been misguided. Last thing she needs is you hating her" I told him laying my head on his shoulder.

"Look at you giving advice and shit" he laughed leaning back, pulling me down with him.

"This ain't comfortable" I complained trying to get comfortable. Jess didn't say anything he just pulled me on top of him.

"You good now?" He asked looking down at me.

"Yeah your fat feels like a mattress, good look bro"

"Yo I'm not your bro" he said getting serious which only made me laugh more.

"Bro.bro.bro..." I kept talking so I would annoy him but he leaned up biting my neck which made me stop.

"Keep playing" he said doing it again.

"Stop" I whined kind of liking the feeling but I wouldn't tell him that. I didn't want to do anything beside kissing with Jesse because I wasn't ready for sex and we hadn't even been together that long.

"What chu gonna do about it?" He asked squeezing my sides.

"Shut up" I replied back not knowing what to say.

"You could stay at my place" he suddenly suggested making me look up at him again.

"Your mom wouldn't allow that and us living together isn't a good idea. Even though I'm your girl, there's still things we don't know about each other and I don't want our relationship ending before it really starts" I told him and he nodded knowing what I said made sense.

"First girl I like in a long time is about to leave"

"Maybe I could get emancipated"

"What?" He asked looking at me like I said something wrong.

"It would give me legal independence from my parents. I'm about to start working at Hobby Lobby so I'll have my own source of income me I'm sure my grandmother would help me" I smiled.

"Oh but don't that mean after that they ain't responsible for shit you do so if anything happens you on your own"

"I've sort been on my own, they've provided financially for me so if I handle that myself I'll be good. The government could help me get a low income apartment or I could have my grandmother get custody of me like she has with my...siblings"

"Siblings?" He asked looking at me in confusion.

"There's a whole lot of shit going on"

"I thought you said you was an only child?" He asked sitting up.

"Well I just found out my three cousins are really my siblings. My mom had a child before me and my dad cheated and Symone and Toni are his kids"

"Yo you serious?" He asked shocked. I nodded in confirmation and watched as he just kept a shocked expression on his face.

"Yup so now shit is crazier in my family"

"Wait why they want you but don't want to deal with they other kids"

"They abandoned them years ago so I doubt Toni, Symone and Ahmeer want anything to do with them. I know I wouldn't" I said thinking about what I would if I was in their position.

"I wouldn't even know what to do if I was you" he shook his head.

"Yeah my mom just left and I don't know where we stand"

"I said something to my moms before I left" he admitted.

"Like what?"

"Some shit about her parenting towards Siona, I don't like disrespecting my moms so now I feel like shit about it"

"Your mom loves you and she'll forgive, I wish I had a mother like yours" I confessed looking down. My mom cared more about her job than anything else. She didn't do anything a wife or a mother should do. She listened to everything my dad said as if she didn't have a backbone until today. I was surprised when she told him off earlier, I hope she kept it up.

"Your mom loves you too, she probably just got a weird way of showing it. Maybe she never had that bond with her mom so she never knew how to act with you" he said making me think.

"Look at you giving advice and shit" I said mocking him from earlier.
