A few days later I was at Carter's house late at night in his backyard. Lights were strung up and it looked super romantic.

He hit the stereo and a song came on and I instantly recognized it. It was Bubbly.

"Sing." Carter grabbed my hand and twirled me around.

"I've been away for awhile now. You've got me feeling like a child now. Cause every time I see your bubbly face, I get the tingles in a silly place. It starts in my toes, then I crinkle my nose. Wherever it goes, I always know. You make me smile, please stay for awhile now. Just take your time wherever you go. The rain is falling on my window pane, but we are hiding in a safer place. Under covers staying dry and warm, you give me feelings that I adore. They start it my toes, make me crinkle my nose. Wherever it goes, I always know. Yea you make me smile, please stay for awhile now. Just take your time, wherever you go. (Etc)"

He cradled me in his arms and kissed my cheek. I giggled a little and crawled into a his lit up tree house. A bed and a dresser was up there as well. We laid on the bed and before I knew it we were in nothing, laying in the sheets together.

"I'm going to miss you when I go to college." I rested my head on his chest.

"Yea, but we have spring break and summer vacation." I try to sugar coat it.

"I guess." He kissed me.
