Chapter Twenty-One.The girl standing beside Xavier quietly walked out of the class without throwing a second glance towards him. My agitated gaze was yet fixated on him who opened his mouth multiple times but didn't utter a single word.
"Grace, I.."
"You what?" I demanded, not bothering to check my uptight hostility. Right now, the only thing I wanted to do was to castrate this dick-ass standing in front of me, staring back at me, a hint of apprehension floating in his eyes.
"You have to let me explain." Xavier beseeched, running a hand through his blonde hair and letting out a frustrating sigh.
"Explain? You want to explain why you were sucking some chick's face in an empty classroom when you're dating my best friend?" I fumed. Without giving him a chance to utter a word from his gutter a like mouth, I continued, "Please enlighten me as to what lead you to do such a benevolent deed." I shot a satirical smile and crossed my arms across my chest, wondering what kind of an excuse he could possibly come up with.
"You cannot tell this to Emily." He said with a pleading look.
I gaped at him with disbelief. Was he really so imbecile that he thinks that I'd comply by his ridiculous request or is it just me who is hearing stuffs? "Excuse me?" I asked.
"You heard me, Grace. You cannot tell anything about this to Emily." He deadpanned.
"Your wish is not my command, you moron." I sneered at him. People like Xavier sometimes make me wonder that how can you have the heart to hurt the person who loves you whole heartedly. Doesn't the guilt consume them? Doesn't that make them feel remorseful? From what I could sense, Xavier was scared rather than guilty. There was no doubt about Emily being the prettiest girl of our school. Well, and being the head cheerleader adds the spark to her already glamorous personality. Emily and Xavier's relationship was pretty stereotypical, you know. The quarterback dates the head cheerleader. But the twist here, Emily was not the cliché snobbish girl with an attitude that makes you wonder if she is a Satan designed especially to make your life worse than hell. Xavier could classify for your regular jock; hot, arrogant and a certified asshole. What I didn't anticipate was for him to cheat on a girl as amazing as Emily. Emily was pretty much a jackpot, which Damon surely had his eyes for.
To sum it up, Xavier Smith is pretty much an airhead nutcase who desperately needed some help.
"It will only hurt her, Grace. Do you want to be the reason for your best friend's agony?" Xavier asked. I noticed his lips to take the form of a victorious smirk. And that ticked me off bad. It was not too long before my fist landed on his face, for the second time in this morning.
"You will be the reason for her agony, not me." I gnashed, pointing my finger vehemently at him. "And it's my duty to save her from cunts like you." I said, making my hatred for him very obvious. "Brace yourself for a good break-up." I said, shooting my tallest finger in his face before turning towards the door that would lead me out of the classroom.
"Blake would love to meet the girl he banged at my house, wouldn't he?"
I stopped in my tracks. My breathing hitched and my heart beats doubled its pace. Feeling the beads of sweat due to anxiety, roll down from the side of my face, I turned back towards Xavier who smiled evilly at me. "What are you talking about?" I asked, faking surprise.
The smirk on his face grew wider, as he took steps towards me, standing just a bit away from I was. "Guess you don't exactly have a wonderful memory power. Let me rewind back to the night of my party. You were there, along with Maya and Em, dressed completely different, wearing that stupid wig and shit." Xavier said, a victorious grin lingering on his face. I gulped inaudibly as I Xavier continued, "You got drunk and slept with Blake. I heard he's been pretty obsessed with her." Xavier stated, looking at me in the eye with pure evilness.
