Sorry for the long wait! ^Blake Evans.

Chapter Four.

I had a mental debate about Mrs Evans proposal. Moving in with the Evans will make it difficult for me to move on from that ungrateful cunt. But I would be relived from the medical bills. I couldn't be selfish. I couldn't deny the offer just because of her hot obnoxious son who has stolen my heart. Mom has sacrificed for Cass and me endless times and it would be wrong, wait, it would be horrendous of me if I can't do something so petite for my mom.

So I made up my mind.

"I will do it." I said firmly. I was irrefutable about this. I definitely am.

"That's wonderful sweetheart! I'll soon make arrangements for shifting your stuffs." Mrs Evans smiled warmly at me.

"Thank you, Mrs Evans. I really owe you." I sincerely said.

"Oh honey. Just call me Liz, okay?"

"Okay, Mrs.. Er Liz." I stuttered.

I bid her good bye and moved in the kitchen for my last day of job at 'La Pâtisierrie.' I definitely am going to miss this place a lot. Sharon, was like a second mother to me. I would miss getting lilies for her, being around her, laughing at her lame jokes. There's an undefinable bond that I share with Sharon. I will miss all of this.

"Where the fuck were you last night?!" Maya growled at me, pulling me out my reverie.

"Um, where were you?" I asked her back. I don't know if I could tell her about last night.
I didn't know how she would react to her naïve best friend losing her virginity to a dickhead jerk.

"Missy, I was searching for you everywhere! Emily was with Xavier doing the nasty deed. You were no where to be seen." She huffed.

"Well, um. I couldn't find you either and it was getting late, so I left." I lied. I felt terrible for lying to Maya but didn't exactly have a choice right now.

"You could have texted me, you know." She frowned.

"I'm sorry, Maya." I mumbled.

"Never mind, let's just get done with today's orders." She said, tying the apron and rubbing her palms in determination to complete the job as soon as possible.

"Maya, there's something I need to tell you."

"I'm listening." She said, attentively.

"Today is my last day here."

"Hmm, that's gre.. WAIT, WHAT!?" She hollered.

"You gotta calm your raging tits and listen to me." I said, my hands up in defence.

She calmed down after cussing a couple of times and listened to what happened today with Mrs Evans. Maya, at first would overreact but in the end, she comprehends the reason behind whatever happened.

"But are you gonna be okay? Staying with the douche ain't easy." She said.

"I guess. Besides, I'd do anything to pay mom's hospital bills." I said with a sigh.
