Chapter Twenty-Seven.
"I can't believe you are actually dating that piece of shit." Cass muttered while she rinsed her mouth with a mouthwash and splashed some water on her face. I rolled my eyes at her and passed her a towel, which she snatched away from my grip and grumpily wiped her face. "I mean, you crush on him is all cool. But date him? Him? That's like voluntarily signing up for mental torture for an indefinite period."She exclaimed melodramatically by using her hands extensively in order to make herself more expressive.
She should definitely sign up for Hollywood.
"He's not that bad, Cass." I explained.
"Sure, that makes Osama the most peaceful guy to have graced this planet." She commented snidely as she opened her cupboard and pulled out her clothes. "I'm gonna shower and think about your self-destructive situation." Cass said.
Smiling a bit, I walked over to where she was standing and kissed her forehead, "I appreciate that you're looking out for me, but you have no slightest idea about how happy I am." I said truthfully. Cass being a bit on the weirder side had an uncanny way of expressing her love and concern for someone. Although she is a bit harsh, I cannot help but admit the fact that I'm happy that she always tries looking out for me. With her around, I was like a younger sibling, due to her commanding and controlling behavior.
"Are you?" She questioned, crossing her hands. I nodded my head. "A single tear drop slips from your eye and he kisses his masculinity goodbye." She said in a low tone.
I let out a laugh which cracked a small smile on her face too, "Of course." I said.
"I'll be down for dinner in ten." She said, as she entered the washroom.

"Blake, not now." I said while trying to push him away from me, while I was setting up the table. However, he continued kissing the back of neck while his hands were snaked around me belly. "Blake." I warned, as I walked past him with macaroni that Amanda helped me prepare, after the girls arrived.
Blake pouted at me and tried pulling me into his grasp again, but I successfully dodged past him. "You're a mean girlfriend." He complained.
I walked back towards him and pecked his lips, "Am I?" I queried.
"A little." He said playfully. I pressed my lips against his. Immediately, his arm reached my lower back as he pulled me closer towards him until there was no space between our bodies. I let my fingers wander through his dark locks as Blake deepened the kiss. As much as this sounds cliché and totally unoriginal, I don't think I can ever get tired of kissing this beautiful human, now my boyfriend.
"Am I still mean?" I whispered against his lips while he simply smiled.
"You've progressed, I guess." He said.
"You guys are sick." We heard Cass. We quickly pulled away from each other and composed ourselves. Blake uncomfortably cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck while Cass gaped at us with disgust written all over her face.
"Um, Cass, I didn't realize you're here." I said with a humorless laugh as got back to what I was doing prior to making out with Blake.
"Course you didn't. You were busy sucking the life of out this dipshit." Cass said sarcastically as she pulled out a chair and settled down.
"Cass." I warned. Blake sat across Cass and tapped his fingers against the surface of the table whilst he avoided the menacing gaze of Cass being shot from across. Amanda and Ira arrived while they were laughing but upon seeing the look on their brother's face, the smile simply disappeared. Amanda and Ira looked confusedly at him and Cass who was breaking the knuckles of her fingers while she glared at Blake.
