Nathan's POV:

I was having another dream. It was the same as my last one only everything was a bit more visible. The hand was still there and he was still holding my friend. I also noticed that my friend looked like a trophy. There were also a few life-size trophies scattered around on the ground. I heard my name from behind again. I turned around and saw a giant head floating in front of me. It then opened its mouth and darkness came towards me, surrounding me till I couldn't see a thing. I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face.

I quickly woke up afterwards. I rubbed my eyes as I got out of bed. I didn't understand why I was having these dreams or what they meant. I looked at my clock. It was 6:17. I decided to go for a walk to clear my mind a bit. I put on some comfortable clothes, grabbed my pokéball, and left the room making sure not to wake up Jacob.

I walked outside and went to the nature trail. Almost no one was awake. I soon found myself at the lake where we had the encounter with Gyarados. I decided to use this time to find my bracelet. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it. Just as I was about to give up I heard what sounded like a guitar. I went over to where the noise was and found K.K. Slider playing his guitar on a stump. He stopped playing and looked up at me.

K.K.: "Hello," he said in a friendly voice. "Can I help you with something?"

Me: "No," I tried to say in a kind voice. "I'm just trying to find something I lost."

'K.K.: "Oh really, does it look anything like this?" He grabbed something out of his pocket (how do they do that when they have no pockets?) and tossed it my way. I grabbed it and looked at it. It was my bracelet.

Me: "Thank you. Where did you find it?"

K.K.: "I was just walking along and saw it laying on the ground. That's a nice bracelet. It reminds me of something that happened about ten years ago." He picked his guitar up and started playing it again.

Me: "Why are you out here?"

K.K.: "I come here all the time. It helps me think."

Me: "I wish I had a place like this."

K.K.: "You can join me if you want, Mr.-" He gestured to a stump next to him. I sat down and gave him my name. K.K. continued playing his guitar. "How did you find it?"

Me: "Found what?" He gestured at my bracelet. "Oh, I just found this when I was riding my bike one day. I saw something shiny on the side of the road and there it was."

K.K.: He moved closer to me like he was interested in my story. "Tell me, Nathan, do you have weird dreams at night?"

Me: "Actually yes. That's the other reason I'm out here. It's weird because I've never had these dreams before and I don't know what they mean."

K.K.: "It's a sign." I looked at him. "You are going to do great things in the future."

Me: "How can you tell?"

K.K.: "I've meet someone just like you once and the same thing happened to them. In the end they saved a lot of lives."

I wasn't sure what he meant by "in the end" but his story made me smile. We then heard the sound of a branch break behind us. We both turned around and saw a brown blur go behind a bush. I got up and slowly moved towards the bush. A face popped up from behind the bush. It was my favorite Pokémon, an Eevee. I grabbed my pokéball and raised it up but for some reason I didn't throw it. Instead I just stood there looking into Eevee's eyes and Eevee looking into mine. I then realized that I didn't need to throw the pokéball to capture Eevee. I lowered the pokéball and put out my other hand. Eevee came towards it and sniffed it. I then petted him, at least that's what gender I thought and hoped he was. A big smile came over my face not because Eevee was my partner Pokémon but because I didn't have to use a pokéball to capture him. I turned towards K.K. Slider and smiled.

K.K.: "You are going to do great things in the future."

Just then my phone started to ring. I picked it up and answered it. It was Jacob asking me where I was. I told him where I was and everything that had happened. I told him I was coming back to the dorms and hung up.

Me: "I've got to get going. Thanks for all your help."

K.K. "No problem. And if you ever need someone to talk to you know where to find me."

I nodded and started walking back to the dorms with Eevee right behind me.
