Chapter 43: Master Head

Nathan's POV:

I woke up feeling a sudden pain in my arm. It felt like a dozen bees stung it all at once. I tried standing but I couldn't. I was tied to a chair. I looked at my arm. There was a giant cut on it. Blood was coming out. I looked up. In front of me stood Ganondorf. He was holding a knife. Did he cut my arm open? And if he did, why?

Mewtwo then came over and lifted some of the blood that came out of the wound into a glass tube. The pain in my head, that had died down earlier, was back again, and it hurt more than ever now. I couldn't get over the fact this was happening. These weren't the Nintendo characters I knew and loved.

They both walked over (well, Mewtwo hovered over) to a big machine. It looked like an enhanced imprisoning unit but all I saw inside was darkness. It was an unpleasant darkness that seemed to move and breath, like an unexplainable entity. Mewtwo put the tube of my blood into the machine. I saw three other tubes full of blood in the machine too.

Me: "W-what are you guys doing?"

They both turned towards me. The evil looks they gave me sent chills down my spine. It was the same feeling Dark Pit gave me in college. Ganondorf walked towards me and stopped a couple inches in front of me. He held out his hand which held the smash stone. It wasn't attached to the bracelet. I found my hands wanting to take it from him. Ganon just chuckled a little.

Ganondorf: "Once we put this in that machine, Master Head will be free once again."

Me: "Master Head?! ...Why did you need my blood then."

Ganondorf: "Professor E. Gadd tried to make it almost impossible to free Master Head. One of the "requirements" he added for freeing him was getting blood samples from the chosen one, his closest friend, and the chosen one's parents."

Me: I gasped. "Y-y-you..." I couldn't find the words to speak. Nanon started laughing like a maniac. "You Freaks! I'll kill you for this!"

I froze thinking about what I just said. Did I seriously just say that? Out loud? Was I seriously just thinking of destroying one of the closest things to my heart? Ganon chuckled at what I said as he tossed the stone to Mewtwo. Mewtwo caught it and moved it into the machine. It started to make a siren-like noise. A clear box opened allowing a button to be pressed. Ganon walked towards it prepared to press it.

Before he could press it tho, a dark arrow shot through the room and hit Mewtwo in the chest. The arrow diapered shortly afterwords allowing a weird, black, smoke-like substance to come out of the wound. It acted like the black smoke in the machine, like it was its own being.

Ganon and I looked in the direction the arrow came from. We saw Dark Pit standing a few feet away getting ready to shoot another arrow. Behind him stood Dedede and three Waddle De, one was wearing a blue bandana on its head and was holding a spear.

Ganondorf: "What is this?"

Dedede: "Did you forget about my special devices? You know, the ones that can turn a trophy back into a fighter?"

Ganon became extremely angry. The dark smoke inside the machine and coming out of Mewtwo seemed to get aggressive as well. He smashed the button, breaking it in the process. The container suddenly burst open and all the dark smoke from inside, and from Mewtwo, flew towards Ganon. It surrounded him until he started to grow. He grew until he was in his beast form.

When all the dark smoke was gone, we could see Master Head, looking over us like an evil king. He reminded me of the dream I had. He looked at me for a while before giving beast Ganon orders.

Master Head: "Eliminate them."

His voice seemed to bomb throughout the whole room, like he was a god-like being. In a way, he was. Beast Ganon zoomed towards Dark Pit and Dedede. Pit used his wings to fly over Ganon while Dedede and his minions distracted him. Dark Pit landed in front of me and set me free.

Me: "What's going on?"

For a second, I thought it was a stupid question. Master Head was free and chaos was everywhere. But at the same time, Dark Pit and Dedede, villains, were saving me.

Dark Pit: "I'll explain everything when we're out of danger."

Master Head: "You won't get away that easily."

His mouth opened and the dark mist came out. It formed together creating several dark beings. I recognized them as the enemies in Brawl's story mode. Subspace! But how did Master Head hold that power? I thought it was destroyed along with Tabuu.

Dark Pit: "You need to get out of here now!"

Me: "But the Smash Stone is still in the machine!"

Dark Pit: "You get to safety! I'll get the stone!"

Dark Pit started slicing his way through the Primids. As he did, I heard a loud screech. I turned and saw Beast Ganon fall to the ground in defeat. His body then turned into the same dark mist and formed into several more Primids. These one had super scopes. They tried firing at me but someone grabbed me and pulled me away. I looked at who it was. It was Bowser, and he was blocking the shots with his shell.

Bowser: "Come on, we gotta get you out of here!"

I couldn't believe this. King Dedede, Dark Pit, and now Bowser? Why? Why were they helping me? When the Primids stopped to reload, Bowser picked me up and started running towards Bowser Jr who was telling us to hurry up.

Bowser Jr: "Hurry up!"

Master Head: "Oh no you don't."

I looked behind us and saw Master Head starting up another attack. His eyes were turning a bright red. He then started shooting lasers at us. One of them hit Bowser on the back and sent us flying forward. We landed next to the Koopa Clown Car which was hidden in a corner. I'm guessing they were going to get me out of here in that. Bowser quickly got up and turned towards Master Head. Bowser Jr did too.

Bowser: "Get inside, hurry!"

The two koopas then rushed towards Master Head and started attacking him. I decided to hop into the car like Bowser said. I watched as Dedede joined in the fight along with the Waddle De's. But one with a spear and a blue bandana on its head came towards me. It hoped in the car with me and got it into the air. How did it know how to drive this thing?

It pushed a button on the inside of the car making the mouth open and a cannon come out. The cannon fired a cannon ball straight towards Master Head. It hit him in the eye making him scream in pain. The Waddle De then drove the car into the air and through a hole in the ceiling. I looked down and saw Dark Pit flying towards us.

Dark Pit: "Hurry, let's get him out of here!"

I looked at his hand. He was holding the Smash Stone. Thank God. Just as I thought we were out of danger, I heard some kind of explosion. I looked down and saw a dark orb growing in size. The Waddle De pulled a lever making the car speed up. We started going so fast that Dark Pit almost couldn't keep up.

We soon exited the building we were in. I could see where we were now. We were on an island. But it was floating in the air. I looked behind us and saw Dark Pit closely behind. I also saw the orbs growth start to stop. We were out of the clear, thankfully, but what do we do from here? Where do we go? There was nowhere safe we could go now. Master Head was free.
