A Smash Bros. Adventure (Old Version)

Chapter 19: Who are you?

Nathan's POV:

I was having another dream. It started almost the same way my last one ended. I was in a dark room with a single light shining on me.

???: "Nathan," A mysterious female voice said. I looked around but couldn't see anyone.

Me: "Yes?"

???: "You must bring peace back to this world."

Me: "But how? I don't know anything about Master Head or the Heroes of Smash or what this stone can do."

???: "You have the answers you just need to find them."

At that moment the stone flew of my bracelet and started flying away.

Me: "Hey, wait!"

???: "Follow it, for it will lead you to your destiny."

I ran after the stone but I didn't seem to be moving at all. I kept chasing it until I fell through the floor. I was now tumbling down a grassy hill. I got up and wiped the grass off my cloths. I looked around. This was the same spot where I first entered the Super Smash Bros universe. The stream was here, the trees were here, and the hills were here. But what was I doing back here?

I then heard noises. They sounded like kid noises. I turned around and saw a group of three kids walking in the forest. Two were boys and one was a girl. They all looked familiar as if I had seen them before. Then one of the boys turned their head. I recognized him. It was Maia's brother, Alex. But Maia was nowhere to be seen. I then started to wonder what I was seeing and why I was seeing it.

Girl: "Look, a stream." The girl ran over to the river, picked some water up with her hands, and drank it.

Alex: "Wow, Sally, I've never seen you like water so much."

Boy: "Well she is a growing girl."

Sally: "Shut up, Sam."

Sam: "Make me."

Sally went towards Sam. Before she could do anything Sam picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder. He then headed towards the river.

Sally: "Samuel, put me down right now!"

Sam: "Whatever you say."

Sam leaned back causing both him and Sally to fall into the river. They both started laughing and splashing water on each other. I giggled as I watched them having fun. I then looked at Alex. He started to climb a tree. He got to the top and looked out over the horizon. He lifted a pair of binoculars, that were hanging from his neck, to his eyes. I wasn't sure what he was looking for or if he was looking for anything at all.

Sam: "Alex, come join us."

Alex didn't seem to hear them but he eventually put his binoculars down and let out a sigh. He started to climb down. as he did he stepped on a weak branch. It snapped and he went tumbling down to the ground. The others came to see if he was alright.

Sally: "Alex, are you alright?"

Alex: "Yeah, I'm fine." Sam helped him up and he wiped the dirt from his pants. Alex then looked up at the trees and sighed. "I still don't see any sign of  my sister, or the beast that took of with her."

Sam: "Don't worry, we're here to help you find her."

Sally: "We'll check the whole forest if we have too."

Alex: "That's another problem. These woods don't look at all familiar to me. I think we're lost. And to make things worse the sun is setting. And we don't know what dangers await us at night."

That's where it ended. It all zoomed away from me until I couldn't see it any longer. The female voice came back.

???: "You know who those were?"

Me: "The Heroes of Smash?"

I didn't get an answer. Instead another bright light shined on me. I looked up at where it was coming from. I thought I could see someone but the light was so bright I couldn't tell.

???: "Who are you?"

Me: "I'm Nathan Dickenson. I'm 20 years old and-"

???: "Wrong."

Me: "What do you mean I'm wrong? Are you saying I don't know who I am?"

???: "You cannot find out who you are until you have found all the answers. Only then will you know who you really are."

Me: "I know exactly who I am. You're the one who doesn't know who I am. Now who are you?"

???: "You cannot win this war unless you find out who you are."

Me: "War? What war? What's going on?"

???: "You must find the answers." The light started to go away.

Me: "Wait, who are you? I need to know!"

???: "Who I am is not important right now. What is important is that you find out who you are."

Me: "But I know who I am! Don't go yet! I need the answers!"

???: "Then find them."

With that the light disappeared and I started to wake up.
