Chapter 42: Kidnapped

3rd Person:

After finishing the speech, Nathan felt a bit exhausted. He wasn't expecting for everyone to cheer for him in the end. But then again, what was he expecting? Either way, he decided to take a shower to cool down. Pus, it had been a while since he last cleansed himself. Toadstool showed Nate to his own room in the castle. After looking around the room and getting comfortable with the way everything looked. he took off his cloths, and the bracelet, and got in the shower to wash up.

When he was done washing up, he dried himself off and put his cloths back on. He reached for his bracelet, which he set on the nightstand next to the bed, but it wasn't there. Nathan knelt down thinking it might have fallen under the bed, but it wasn't there. He then heard the sound of a vase shatter. He looked over and saw a table, that had a vase on it, knocked over. He also saw Nabbit, who used the table to help him reach a small window. He had the bracelet in his hand. He was trying to steel it!

Nathan: "Hey, get back here with that!"

Nathan ran to the window to try to stop Nabbit but he slipped away through the window. Nathan knew he wouldn't be able to fit through the window Nabbit did so he quickly ran to the entrance of the castle. Along the way, he accidentally tripped over Sakura.

Nathan: "Oh, Sakura. I'm so sorry."

Sakura: "It's ok. What are you doing running through the castle anyway?"

Nathan: "Nabbit stole the Smash Stone."

Sakura: She gasped. "Oh my gosh, really?"

Nathan: "Yes, I'm gonna try to catch him before he gets too far. Can you go tell the others what happened?"

Sakura: "Of course, anything to get that stone back."

Nathan: "Thanks, and hurry up. I feel like this could be very, very bad."

Sakura: "I'm on it."

They both went to do as they said. Nathan soon found himself on the outskirts of the castle in Toad Town. He scanned the area before finding Nabbit's footprints leading behind some houses. He quickly followed them. He soon found Nabbit handing the bracelet to... an Enderman.

Nate was a bit surprised to see an Enderman here. But then again, Minecraft was put on the Wii U not that long ago. The Enderman accepted the gift, and shortly after, turned towards Nate. It disappeared and then reappeared behind him. Nathan slowly turned around to look at the Enderman. He knew he shouldn't stare into it's eyes but he couldn't help himself. It was almost like he was in a trance. The Enderman then raised its hands and let out a screech.

Maia's POV:

Rosalina, Shulk, Midna, Jacob and I were all chatting together when all of a sudden the door slammed open.

Sakura: "Maia, Maia!"

Me: "Sakura, what's wrong?"

Sakura: "It's Nathan. He's chasing Nabbit right now."

Jacob: "Nabbit? Why would he... oh no."

It can't be. Was the Smash Stone really stolen? If it fell into the wrong hands...

Me: "If the Smash Stone has been stolen, we need to search for it now. Where did Nabbit go?"

Sakura: "Nathan followed Nabbit into Toad Town."

Me: "Alright, go tell the other brawlers what happened. And tell Peach to have the Toads set up a perimeter around Toad Town. We can't have that stone leave our sight."

Sakura: "Yes, maam." Sakura ran out of the room.

Me: "Alright, brawlers. Let's find that stone."

We all ran out of Peach's Castle into Toad Town. We looked around but didn't see Nathan or Nabbit anywhere.

Midna: "Maia, look."

I looked where Midna pointed. There were tracks on the ground. They had to be Nathans. We followed them behind a couple of houses. We found Nathan, but not the way we thought we'd find him. He was knocked out on the ground. A tall, dark, square-like figure picked him up with long, slender hands. He looked at us before disappearing before our very eyes.

A bunch of growling, cackling, and hissing noises suddenly surrounded us. A bunch of square-shaped zombies, skeletons, and weird green creatures then surrounded us. They started attacking us so we had no choice but to fight back.

Maia: "Midna, go and tell the others that the Smash Stone has been stolen. And tell them that Nathan has been kidnapped."

Barely dodging a pixelated arrow, Midna saluted to me and flew off to tell the others. I then turned to a green creature that was hissing right beside me. I was about to shoot at it but Jacob pushed me out of the way just as it exploded. I didn't know they did that.

Jacob: "They're called Creepers. They blow up on close combat."

Maia: "Where are they from?"

Jacob: "Minecraft."
