Chapter 21: The plan

Nathan's POV:

Midna and Lucario came back and told Maia every little detail about the castle. She wrote it all down in a notebook and asked if there were certain things in certain areas. When she had all of this written down she assigned teams and started to go over the plan of how we would get in.

Maia: "Ok, team one will be: Me and Midna. team two will be: Nathan, his twoPokémon, and Shovel Knight. Team three will be: Bomber Man and the Ice Climbers. Now, team one will try and distract the guards at the front gate while team two slips past. during this team three will sneak in through the back and try to disable any cameras or traps that may be inside. Once team two is inside their job is to-"

I fell asleep. I didn't recognize that I had fallen asleep until the voice spoke to me.

???: "Nathan."

I opened my eyes. I was in the dark room again.

Me: "Yes?"

???: "You must get the stone."

Me: "The stone? What stone? You aren't talking about my bracelet again are you?"

I could see a light coming from behind me. I turned around and saw the castle. It was big. We went inside and turned a few corners until we soon got to a room called 'the vault'. We went inside. There was a stone on a pedestal. It was surrounded by glass and it was connected to some cord. there were also lasers protecting it.

???: "Find this stone. You cannot leave without it."

Me: "Wait. What if they try and stop me?"

???: "Tell them 'Susan told you to'."

Me: "Wait. Is that your name? Susan?"

???: "Goodbye for now, Nathan."

Me: "Wait, don't go!"

???: "Nathan."

Me: "I still need you!"

???: "Nathan!"

I then felt someone slap me across the face. I woke up instantly. I looked up and saw Maia with a disappointed look on her face.

Maia: "Nathan, did you hear a word of what I said?"

Me: "I heard how we're going to get in."

Maia: She huffed and rolled her eyes. "Just follow Shovel Knight and you should be fine. Now come on. We're starting the plan."

Me: "Now? But it's so late."

Maia: "Witch is why we should do our plan now. Now come on!"

Me: "Alright." I got up. Eve was next to me. She looked up at me. She looked worried. "Don't worry, everything will be alright." I picked her up and followed the others to the castle.
