A Smash Bros. Adventure (Old Version)

Chapter 8: The journey begins!

Nathan's POV:

Eevee, Midna, and I were all falling through the portal. When we finally reached the end we fell in a river. Thankfully the water was shallow enough that you could walk to the shore. I got out of the water and pulled Eevee out. She shook herself dry.

Pit: "Of all the places to make us land why did you chose here?" He shook the water off of his wings.

Midna: "I'm sorry, did you want to break some bones on our way here?"

Samus: "Guys, now is not the time for arguing."

Me: "I agree. We have to find Jacob and go back to our world." I looked around. All I saw were trees. "Where are we?"

Link: "We're in the Smash bros Universe." He was on top of a small hill checking our surroundings.

Me: "Were do we go?"

Link: "Well, if I'm correct, this is Smash River." He pointed at the river. "If we follow it west then we should find Smash City."

Me: "How long should it take us to get there?"

Link: "well by looking at the angle of the sun and knowing how far away Smash City is I would guess that it would take us about two days to get there.

Me: "Then what are we doing standing around here? Come on let's go." I started walking along the river.

Link: "That's east, Nathan!"

Me: I turned around to correct myself. "I knew that."

We all started walking towards Smash City. About five hours later, the sun started to set.

Pit: "I'm tired and hungry."

Samus: "Aren't you always tired and hungry?"

Me: "Pit's right." I took my backpack off and sat on a nearby stump. "We've been walking for about five hours without a break." Eevee climbed on my lap and curled up into a ball. I put my hand on her. "Maybe we should rest here for the night."

Ash: "I agree. We need our sleep."

Pit: "As long as I don't have to walk I'm happy." He sat on a nearby stump. "Now, did anyone bring anything to eat?"

Me: "I brought lots of food but we need to make a fire first."

Link: "Midna and I can get some sticks."

Samus: "And I can take Kirby to find some stones."

Everyone left to get what they had said. Samus and Kirby created a circle of stones and Link and Midna put sticks in the middle of it. Mario got a fire flower and created a flame. I pulled out a bag of marshmallows from my backpack and opened it. I then grabbed some sticks and put marshmallows on them and handed them out to everyone. Pit burnt his marshmallow and threw it into the river. We all laughed afterwards. We talked and ate for a while. I wanted to know more about Smash City so I asked everyone what it was like.

Pit: "It's big."

Ash: "It's busy."

Samus: "It's popular."

Link: "And you can find anything you need. From a small mushroom to a popular Brawler."

Me: "how many people live there?" I pulled my marshmallow off the stick and put it in my mouth.

Midna: "Many, you can't go around one corner without seeing someone."

Me: "Sounds impressive." I let out a yawn. "Oh man, I am tired. I should get ready for bed."

Link: "We all should be getting to bed. I'll be the night watch for the first few hours."

Everyone said goodnight and chose a space in the grass to sleep. I saw Eevee in the grass curled up and went over to her. I laid down, put my hand on Eevee, and went to sleep.
