"The auditorium is right there." Kenny said, slightly leaning out from the other hallway.

"What can we do about the students inside?" I asked.

"Well, we have about 75 students. I don't know how many teachers, and there are 3 presenters." Kenny said pulled back from his vantage point.

"How many perps?" I asked, turning towards Kenny.

"Perps?" He asked raising his eyebrow slightly confused.

I rolled my eyes. Does he watch any crime show nowadays. "The people with guns. The bad guys."

He nodded his head. "I would say about eight, maybe seven. I'm not sure. The real question is how are we going to get in there?" He asked slightly pacing.

I thought for a second. Something came to mind, and I knew he wouldn't like it. "Live bait." I said, looking at him.

Kenny nodded. "That's a little risky. Anyway who are we going to get to do that?" He looked at me. It took a second for him to get it. But when he did, "Wait a second. Me?" He questioned.

I gave him a look. "Who else are we going to get?"

After a second, Kenny sighed. "How is this going to work?"

"Act like yourself. Call your father." I said, pushing him out in the hallway. Kenny looked nervous. "It's ok they won't kill you. Keep the phone on speaker."

"Hey dad." Kenny said acting normal.

"Kenny? Where are you? You were suppose to be at the presentation." His father spat out, nervous sounding.

Kenny kept looking back at me. "I had to make a coffee run. It was some good coffee. I'm just making my way now." Kenny walked out into the hallway.

"Wait." Tobias heard Lehman said.

"Don't worry I won't be too late." Three men with guns rushed towards Kenny. "Hey guys rolling out the red carpets." Kenny smiled at the men with guns. Two of them grabbed Kenny and dragged him away.

The third started walking towards me. This had to be quiet. I had got my tasers. Just as the man walked past me, I pulled him into a headlock. He fought, and he was pretty tough. But that all ended with a little shock. "Nighty night." I dragged him out of sight.

Another man with guns came out of the auditorium. I could sneak up on him and listen to NSYNC. Wait, that's not what I wanted. I answered the phone. Rory. "What are you doing?" I asked, just as one of the men ran towards me.

"I needed to call you." Rory said, barely over a whisper, which was difficult trying to hear, since this man was attacking me.

I pulled out my tasers. "About what?" I shouted, dodging a jab with the knife.

Over my grunts from fighting the thug, "I'm going to turn off the electrical system is a minute. It will me out for 5 minutes. That should give you enough time to go in take out the bad people and get the students and yourself out." Rory said just as I stunned the thug, making him fall to the ground.

I paused for a second, getting was she said through my head. "Thanks." I said, going to towards the auditorium doors. I waited until the lights turned off.

Once that happened I slowly opened the door and snuck in. This was going to be tricky. Turning on the night vision, I made my way around the corner. The students were in the middle area. Two guys in one aisle, two in the other, and one on the stage. I got behind the two on the left, batons in hand. They went down quickly. Then I ran across the aisle to the other two. That's when everyone started screaming. I quickly put the two down while the students and teachers made their way out of the auditorium, and from what I could tell none of them were hurt.

"I know someone is in here. So you might as well show yourself." The last armed man said. Getting a good look at the stage, I saw the one man pointing the gun down at the group of people huddled on the ground. There were four hostages left. One of the presenters, Kenny, Lehman, and the beautiful Faye.

I made my way closer to the stage. "How about you let the good people go and we can all come out of this unhurt? How does that sound?"

"I will hurt these people. 35 million dollars is what my boss needs. Then these people can leave." The man yelled, pushing his gun towards Kenny's head.

"And where am I going to get this money from?" I asked rolling my eyes, even though he couldn't see me.

Just as I was about to run up and get him the lights turned back up. "Who are you?" The hostile asked, slightly confused. The presenter and Lehman were also confused. Kenny just played the part. And Faye looked annoyed.

I smiled at him. "I'm the Guardian."

"No matter. The money. Or he gets it." The man held a gun to Lehman's head. Kenny looked worried.

Then Lehman did something I wouldn't expect him to do. "Please don't do this." He started sobbing.

While the hostile gave Lehman a look of pity I pulled out one of my taser stars and threw it at him. It hit him right in the chest. In a second or two he was on the ground. "Are you guys all right?" I asked as I ran up on the stage to see if they were all okay.

Lehman stared at me with wide eyes. "You saved me." He gawked. That was awkward.

"She hurt her ankle." The other presenters said pointing at Faye's ankle.

What an opportunity for me. I picked up Faye, bridal style. "Let's get you guys out of here." I said, leading the way out of the auditorium.

"You don't need to carry me." Faye said, trying to get out of my grip.

"Your ankle is hurt. We don't need it hurt more." I smirked at her as I carried her out the door.

"Hands up!"
