"Hands up!" It was the police. I slowly placed Faye down and went to put my hands up. Well this wasn't how I planned on this going.
Someone spoke up. "Wait, this man is the good guy, he saved my life." It was Lehman, of all people. He took a stance between me and the police.
"He saved the whole school." Kenny said, following his father's lead, and covering my ass.
"He's a hero." One of the teachers said, the one from earlier.
"We owe you our lives." The presenter said.
Someone else piped up as well. "You saved an entire school."
"Really? Dear God... he's so annoying." I heard from the ground. Faye.
"Is this true?" One of the officers asked, lowering his gun ever so slightly.
I looked at all of these people. They believed in me. "Yes officers, the suspects are inside." I said.
The police motioned for me to come over to the group of cop cars. "Well, where inside are the suspects?"
I could work with them. That's better than getting arrested for saving lives. "Of seven men in the building, two are down the hall in the first locker area. The others are in the auditorium. They should all still be knocked out." I looked back at Faye, still sitting on the ground. "Is there anyone who could tend to Miss Varanasi, she seemed to hurt her ankle."
The school nurse got to work on her ankle. After getting it wrapped I walked over to her. "How is your ankle?" I asked.
She looked up at me. "It would be better if you weren't here." She slowly stood up.
The nurse turned to me. "There isn't anything too wrong with it. Just a little sprained."
Faye looked at me. "How did you find out about the hostage situation."
"I got an anonymous tip." I stated. Well, anonymous, more like Rory.
"Who is under the mask?" Faye asked.
"Can't tell you that." I smirked at her.
I started to walk away. "Where are you going?" She stood up and followed me.
"I'm here for the city. And before I leave," I stopped, making Faye bump into me, "that is save number four. You're getting pretty close." Ran off to my motorcycle and drove off.
While driving making sure to take back streets, NSYNC started ringing in my pocket. "Hey ding dong!" Rory said.
"Yes Rory?" I said, starting to slow down, to find an alley to change in.
"First of all, no thanks?" She sassed.
I hid behind a dumpster and started to change. "Thank you for watching your siblings and helping with the lights." I said.
"You're welcome. Second, we are still at school. We need to be picked up." Rory said.
"Well, I'm still trying get back without being seen." I said, quickly getting into pants.
"So how are we going to get home?" Rory asked.
I stopped at thought for a second. Then it hit me. "Faye! Give Faye the phone." I shouted at Rory.
"Hello?" Faye said, sounding angelic as ever.
I held my phone between my ear and my shoulder. "Hey Faye, it's Tobias. So you know how you said you could drive the kids home?" I asked pulling up my pants.
"Do you need me too?" Faye asked.
I sighed. "Yeah, I've been running errands and now I'm stuck in traffic. I just heard what happened. Is everything ok?" I asked, wanting to make sure her ankle was fine.
"Yeah everything is fine. No one got hurt. But the person who came to help, the stupid hero. I'll have to tell you more about it later." Faye said, sounding annoyed.
"Ok, I will have to hear about when I see you. Thank you so much for this." I said, thankful for her service.
"No problem, see you later." Faye said.
"I'll see you later. Bye." I said, getting out from behind the dumpster, making my way back home.

As I walked in the unit I was ambushed by Jeb and Rose. "How was the ride home? Anyone hurt?" I asked everyone.
Jeb and Rose clung to be legs. "Nope!"
Rory turned up the volume on the TV. "Hey ding dong, look at this." Rory said turning the channel to the news.
"What are they saying?" I walked over closer to see the TV.
"They want you to receive an award for your heroism for the thing that the school." Rory said, typing something on her computer.
"They want to give me a medal?" I asked patting Jerry on the head, who was playing with his toys next to Rory.
"And the key to the city." Rory said.
"The key to the city? What does that key do?" I asked, turning towards Rory.
"Nothing. It's a symbolic thing." Rory said, typing away at her computer.
"What if I'm found out. Like my secret identity." I said, turning away from Rory. "I don't think this is a good idea."
"It will be fine. Just make sure they don't find out." Rory said calmly.
"Fine. I'll do it. You watch the hooligans." I said, running my hands through my hair.
"I was planning on leaving the country, I'll be busy." Rory rolled her eyes. "We just need to make sure you look decent looking, and anything conspicuous is covered up. Also gloves." Rory stated.
I looked at her. "Gloves?"
"Fingerprints." She said wiggling her fingertips.
"Oh, yeah." I said, running my hand across my chin.
Rory stood up, looking towards me. "This is a good thing. I'll help you get ready."
