We all stood there, staring at Lehman on the ground, not really knowing what to do. Kenny was the first one to break the silence. "Is he still breathing?" Kenny asked looking down at his dad's lifeless figure. He tried to break from Don's grip. "Is my dad still alive?" He seemed more urgent with the question.
Dean held up his gun towards Kenny. "Shut up!" He shouted. I tried to move closer to Lehman, to check if he was still alive. Sadly, he caught me moving. "Don't you move either Rainwater. Nobody moves a muscle." He shouted for everyone to here. Dean made his way towards Lehman. Keeping an eye on me he knelt down to check on Lehman's pulse. "The idiot is still alive." Dean said straighten back up, glaring at Kenny.
Kenny glared back, still fighting in Don's grip. "Good."
Trying to take another step closer, I was thwarted again. "Did I say to move?" Dean asked, grabbing Faye and turning the gun towards her.
I held my hands so Dean could see them, making sure he knew that I wasn't planning on doing anything rash. "Dean, get it through your head, you're not getting through this." I tried to reason with him.
Dean sneered back at me. "The way I see it is you are stuck between a rock and a hard place."
"Dean. Let them go." I commanded, looking between Faye, Kenny, and Rory.
Dean let out a short laugh. "No. They are our ticket out of here." He explained, pulling Faye closer to him.
"I can't let you take them. How do I know you won't kill them when you leave?" I asked.
Dean smirked. "You don't."
"I don't like that." I said.
"Do you want to know what? I'll give you Lehman," Dean gestured to Don to let Kenny go. Kenny was pushed towards me, slightly stumbling. "But then I get to keep one of them." Dean said, holding Faye close to him.
"Dean that's not who this is going to work." I said, giving him a threatening look.
"Shut up. If you follow me, then she dies. Don, grab the girl and get out of here." Dean said, pulling Faye away.
Don grabbed the chair that Rory was tied to. "No way. You aren't taking me anywhere." She squirmed. Thinking fast I rushed him and punched him in the face. That made him drop Rory. Kenny rushed up, landing a kick to Don's face.
"Can we take him down?" I asked, as Don swung his fist at us.
Kenny stood besides me, after ducking from Don's punch. "You go after Dean, I'll take Don."
I looked at him. "You'll take Don?" I repeated what he said.
"Yeah. I'll be fine, now go." Kenny said dodging another punch from Don.
Don took another swing at us. "What about Rory?" I said, mid ducking the fist.
"I'm fine, go!" Rory shouted from the chair, slowly working on the knots.
I looked over them one more time before sprinting after Dean and Faye, leaving Kenny to hold off Don. Not saying that I don't believe in him, but I feel like that wouldn't turn out well for him.
"Let go of me." Faye's shouts echoed down the long hallway. I ran after the sound of her voice.
"Shut up Faye." Dean's voice was added to the echoing making it easier to track them.
"Dean, I don't have time for your bullshit." Faye shouted, her voice coming from around the corner.
Tobias turned the corner to see Faye and Dean. "If you don't shut the fuck up, then I will kill you." Dean said, gripping her chin.
"Dean!" I shouted.
Dean whipped Faye in front of him, using her as a shield. "Tobias, I will kill your girlfriend." He shouted, his gun pointed towards her head.
"No you won't." I said, not knowing if it was completely true.
Dean smiled, hiding his small amount of insecurity. "Why is that?"
"I just know it." I said, telling the truth.
Dean let out a small laugh. "So, what are we going to do now? How are we going to do it? I will kill her if you get too close to my liking."
"And I'm not letting you go with her." I stated.
"What are you going to do, fight it out?" Faye asked, sarcasm oozing out of her.
"Let's fight, man to man." Dean said, the corner of his mouth turning up.
"Are you serious?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.
"I'm pretty sure I was being sarcastic." Faye said, looking surprised.
"I would love to shoot you in your face. But let's fight. I don't have anything else to lose." Dean said, throwing his gun on the ground. I followed, slowly placing my tasers on the ground. Dean continued. "Just want to let you know that I will not stop until-"
"Dear god, stop comparing sizes." Faye groaned, interrupting him.
Dean forcibly pushed Faye down making her hit her head on the wall. It the split second that to looked to check on her, Dean was leaping towards me, his face connecting just below my eye. He was fast, but he wasn't going to get to me.
Somehow Dean managed to get me in a headlock, with a tight grip which didn't help me. "You know, you sister. We found her. On the streets, a whore. She didn't have the money we needed." Dean whispered into my ear. "So we took what we could, if you know what I mean."
I don't know what came over me, adrenaline, anger, annoyance, but I flipped him over my shoulder. He got up quickly and we started throwing punches again. Neither of us were faltering. We both got good hits on each other, but we were equal opponents. We would each would get a good hit in that would temporarily knock the other down, but we would be up in a flash.
Dean kicked the back of my knee, slightly making me lose my balance. He used that to get me on the ground, so that he could get on top of me. He used that opportunity, now that he was basically straddling me, to start punching my face repeatedly. I managed to buck my hips up getting him off balanced, I swiped my leg around so that he fell to the side.
Then I switched sides with him so I was on top. I returned his punches with my own. I tried to hold him down but he flung me off. We both quickly got to our feet, ready to start this all over again. But this time he pulled out a knife, smiling maliciously at be. Then he collapsed on the ground. Behind him was Faye, who was holding a brick.
Looking at her for a second, I quickly changed my focus back towards Dean, who wasn't moving. I slowly reached down, checking if he still had a pulse. Finding that his pulse was strong, I lifted his head seeing that he was indeed out. Making sure he was down, I placed the zip ties around his wrists pulling them to make sure they were tight. I let out a sigh, relaxing now that he wasn't a threat. Coming back to my senses I turned towards Faye.
"Are you ok?" I asked slowly standing up.
Faye shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah I'm fine. At least everything seems fine." She said, looking at only minor cuts and bruises.
Not able to control myself I pulled Faye into a hug. It surprised her and it surprised me too. "I'm sorry I let this happen." I whispered into her hair. "Hopefully it will never happen again." I held the hug as long as I did because Faye wasn't fighting it.
It would have lasted longer if we weren't interrupted by an ear piercing scream. "We should get back." Faye looked up at me, worry in her eyes.
I leaned down and hoisted Dean, who wasn't light, over my shoulder. "This way." I said, rushing with Faye right behind me.
