I can't die... No, I don't want to die! I haven't even had my real first kiss yet, I'm still a virgin... I am just not ready to die...
"Austin!! Can you drive slower?" I shouted over the loud music.
"I'm only going on 75!" He shouted back.
"SEVENTY FUCKING FIVE?" I shouted leaning back tightly against my seat. In case if he stops the car quickly, I didn't want to hit my head on the windshield and die from a concussion.
"That's not too bad"
"THE SPEED LIMIT IS 35 YOU STUPID ASS!" I shouted, my voice felt harsh so I turned the music off, "Where did you get your fucking license from?"
"The DMV..."
"No shit, I'm just wondering how you passed the damn drivers test," I let out the breath I was no longer able to hold in.
"I'm only driving fast so you can make it to your date on time," he said pressing harder on the acceleration pedal.
"I'm gonna die," I whispered, my eyes wide, and fear laced in my voice and on my face.
"Chill, we're here," he chuckled slowing down his car and stopping it in one of the parking slots.
"You almost killed us," I smacked his arm and he laughed.
"You should've seen yourself, you looked like a deer caught in the headlights," he smirked running his finger through his hair.
I was breathing heavily, my hands still clenched on the sides of the seat.
"But you know, you look precious today. I just had to mess with you," he grinned widely and I felt my cheeks heat up.
I was blushing at his words but I was nowhere near forgetting the fact that we almost died. He was being way too careless on the road. A fucking 75 when the speed limit is 35? Who with the right state of mine even does that?
"Stop kissing up, it's not going to work," I smacked his arm again, "I'm calling mom to pick me up, you better drive home safe!"
"Okay, grandma," he said giving my cheek a peck before I unbuckled my seatbelt and climbed out of the car.
"I'm serious," I said before slamming the car door shut.
I walked into the restaurant, and my stomach growled at the amazing smell of food hitting my nostrils. I looked around and immediately spotted Zach in a black shirt over a white t-shirt. His dirty brownish blonde hair was styled messily. He was dressed so casually and it made me look like an idiot wearing a fancy dress and dramatic makeup. He seemed to have spotted me too as he stood up waiting for me to make my way there.
I walked over to the table and sat on the chair he pulled out for me, "You look amazing, Lia."
"Thank you," I grinned crazily. He walked around and sat opposite from me.
We placed our orders and waited for our food to arrive.
"Maybe this is out of the blue, but may I asked something? If you don't mind," I asked staring into Zach's gray eyes.
"Yeah sure, go ahead," He smiled at me, taking a sip of water.
"I was just wondering, why the sudden interest in taking me out?" I asked.
His smile fell, but he seemed to have replaced it with a grin, "I couldn't help it. I was being a dick to you, but the whole time I just found myself hiding my real feelings towards you."
