"You came!" He stood up from under the tree and opened his arms widely.

"Um... This is not the football field,"  I looked around, confused.

"Don't leave me hanging," he sang, completely ignoring my complain.

I groaned walking closer to him, into a hug. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his arms went around my waist. I eventually let go but he refused to loosen his grip, "can't breathe."

"Sorry," he let go with a smirk, he did not sound sorry at all, "hey, guess what I brought you?"

He picked up a box from where he originally sat, "you got me donuts!"

My eyes lit up as I looked and the white and orange box which read "Dunkin Donuts".

"Is that enough to bribe you into forgiveness?" He was grinning widely as he opened the box.

Along with donuts came the hardest decision of my life, which on to eat first. Glazed? Boston cream? Chocolate? Sprinkles? So many to choose from. I was getting emotional just looking at them.

"I'll have the whole thing, thank you," I closed the box in his hand before snatching it and sitting down under the tree.

"Hey, that's for the both of us!"

"Not anymore."

He sat down next to me with a sigh, taking a glazed donut from the box. I took a huge bite from the cream filled donut.

"You eat like a pig," he said when he finished the bite in his mouth.

"I think there is something wrong with my ear, you're saying sorry, but I'm hearing something else..." I said when I finished the food in my mouth.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry for my behavior yesterday... I promise not to make such mistakes in the future, will you please marry me?" He started grinning towards the end as he held up a chocolate donut ring.

"Oh my god! Yes, yes, yes!" I dramatically gasped and he put the donut on my ring finger.

I took the donut out and took a bite from it, "one delicious ring."

"Anything for you, love."

I made a gagging sound.

"Hear that? That's you, making me sick," I wrinkled my nose jokingly before we both bursted out into laughter.

The laughter faded out into silence and I didn't say I mind it. It was a nice and sunny day to spend out and do a little thinking.

"Lia, do you ever get confused about who you like?" He asked me as if he was in some deep confusion.

"No, because I'm not an idiot...?" I said, which sounded a little more frustrated than I had intended to.

"Oh, if you're so smart... Mind telling me who you like? I mean you're surrounded by boys, you had to feel something for more than one of them," He asked raising both his eyebrows and turning around to face me.

"Someone, but I'm sure as hell not confused between however many people you are confusingly crushing on..." I stated.

This was my clear opportunity to tell him and I had also intended on blurting it out but it didn't come out. As if it got stuck in my throat and never came out.

"Who is this lucky someone?" He smirked as one of his eyebrows raised.

"Could be anyone," I still couldn't get it out.
