"Lee, he isn't good for you," Ally said for the fifth time.
I took a bite out of my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
"Well I told him to stay away, he doesn't list-"
"Hey," I was cut off by someone who joined us out of nowhere and sat beside me.
"Hi," I said immediately recognizing Zach's voice.
"Hi to me too," Austin said sitting cross from me, next to Ally.
Austin waved Ally a hello and she blushed immediately. She was going after Austin, the bad boy, yet telling me to stay away from Hunter. Although, Hunter was way worst than Austin so I could understand where she came from with that. I was just happy to have friends who cared about me just as much as I cared about them. But that doesn't mean I don't get to be mad at them.
"Don't talk to me," I said crossing my arms on my chest. There was a playful frown on my face as I stared him down.
"I'm sorry, babe," Austin said in an apologetic tone.
Ally tensed at Austin's choice of word. It was adorable how she blushed every time he was around her.
"Apology not accepted," I said taking another bite from my sandwich.
"I am really really sorry, it won't happen again. And to make it up to you, tonight is our movie night."
I grinned in response, "accepted."
Our friendship was great. We fought but he knew how to bribe into forgiveness. I just hugged him tightly until he forgave me. Hey, it's not as easy as it sounds. If you did some terrible shit, you'd have to move around with them until they decide to give up. My thoughts were cut short.
"Why do you space out?" Austin muttered to me and I just shrugged in response.
Because I'm telling a story, blood hell.
"Hey... I'm sorry too," Zach said pulling my attention towards him.
"Why are you sorry?"
"The dance. You left right after the..." He cut himself off knowing that the whole table's attention was on us.
The kiss. That's what he meant to say. I was glad he didn't announce it out to the whole table, because I hadn't told my friends and Austin would kill me... and Zach.
"No, don't worry about it. I didn't mean to send that kind of message. I had to use the restroom."
And I also wanted to go as far away from Hunter as possible.
"Oh good, I thought you hated me," he grinned.
"She does," Hunter joined our table. Placing himself next to me like he owned the damn cafeteria.
"Don't listen to him," I said sending a glare towards Hunter.
"But you're the one who told me," he smirked, "you said he was forcefully throwing himself at you... Like he is desperate or someth-"
Before Hunter could finish his sentence, Zach had stood up and walked away from the table. I turned around to see Hunter smirking. All my brain could think of at the moment was to form a fist and throw towards Hunter's chest. He coughed at the pain and I stood up to follow behind Zach.
