Devon and Lia, bring your stuff down the stairs" mom said when he said she saw me sitting on my bag of clothes on top of the stairs.
We were getting ready to go to Austin's beach house. Mine and Austin's parents planned this trip and I wasn't ready for it. It has been 4 days since I had last talked to Austin and I missed him like bloody hell. I wasn't going to tell him I missed him, heck, I wasn't going to talk to him at all until he realized what he has done wrong. He hadn't tried talking to me after our last dispute.
"Mom, Lee is sitting on my bag!" Devil shouted.
"You fucking liar! I'm sitting on my own bag." I said getting up and grabbing my bag, only to see him grinning evilly at me. Oh, how excited I was to go to this stupid effing trip.
"Lia! Get you ass off your bag."
I groaned and made my way down stairs and out the front door to see Austin and his parents with the trunk of their car open.
"Go Austin, help Lia carry her bag" Mr. Dawson said causing Austin's eyes to snap from his phone to me.
I made sure I wasn't showing any emotions as he stared at me. He walked over and grabbed my bag out of my hand. I didn't let go, I can be just as stubborn as he can.
"Let go" he muttered under his breath.
"It's my bag, you let go" I said not even trying to keep my voice down-low.
"Lee, let go!" He said matching my tone.
"Stop being so immature, Jeez" I heard Devil say as he grabbed the bag from both of our hands and walked towards the car.
I groaned and walked away, leaving Austin standing there as his eyes followed everywhere I went.
"Austin, Devon and Lia, you guys are going with Casper and all the adults will come in the other car" I jumped excitedly when I heard Casper's name.
I looked around trying to find him but he was nowhere to be seen. I jumped again, but this time because I felt two arms wrap around my waist. He put his chin on my shoulder and I turned around to spot a smirking Casper.
"Looking for me?" He asked.
"Yeah! I needed company..." I said with a grin.
"For the first time you're ditching Austin to spend time with me" he said with a surprised look.
"Yeah, I don't feel like talking to him" I faked a smile only to be noticed by Austin. I looked away from him immediately as embarrassment took over my face.
"You're telling me everything that happened" he whispered in my ear before he was cut off by Mr. Dawson.
"Leave Lia alone, Casper!"
Casper let go of my waist only to hold my hand and make his way towards the car.
I sat on the passenger seat with Casper on the driver's seat, Devil and Austin in the back. The ride was an hour long and not talking to Austin was making the time go slower. Lucky for Devil, he had brought his portable video games thingy with him and he started playing the second we got in the car.
"Hey, I just remembered something" I said causing Casper to glance at me before focusing his eyes back on the road.
"What?" He asked.
"Do you remember the time, when we were little and I used to call you crispy and you chased after me for hours."
I was really missing the time when we were all innocent minded children, when Casper wasn't a player and Austin wasn't a lying bastard... he was actually.
