I knocked on the door rapidly, I think I might of done it a bit furiously but we all make mistakes...Dad opened it, fully dressed and clutching a vial in his hand, he smiled slightly and ushured me into the classroom.

"What is it you want dad?" I sighed sitting down on the stool, trying to resemble a kinder version of my father in my first year

"I want to know why you weren't in the great hall last night" dad asked opening his cupboard and pulling out a few things then reshuffling them

"I wasn't in the great hall last night because I wasn't feeling too well" I shrugged

"I won't argue with that one because you don't look too well..." I looked in the mirror opposite and sure enough my face was a ghostly white

"Also Lucy, Mr Weasley knocked on my door around about midnight, he shoved some red roses under my nose and demanded I gave them to you" dad added, he walked over to a cupboard and yanked out a bunch of red roses. He placed them on the table in front of me and I held them up. There was a small card pinned to them, I took it off and read it:

Roses are red

Violets are blue

I know this poem isn't orginal

But all I want back is you

Love Fred x

"Cheesy much..." I sneered, but inside I wasn't sneering I was thinking that this was so adorable that I just wanted to run up to Fred and give him a hug. Lucy remember what he did to you! He cheated on you! One part of my mind said to me yeah but, it wasn't his fault! It can't of been...He said he loved me...The other part said

"I know, I read the card and almost vomited" dad shook his head and sat down next to me, I leant on his shoulder and he stroked my hair "so your not intrested in him any more?"

"Why would I be? He cheated on me" I shrugged, yawning slightly

"Good choice" dad whispered into my ear "because boys aren't worth it"

There is one thing I never get about my father, he gives me all this advice about boys but how does he know? It seemed as though he wasn't married to my mother and also it seemed like I was a surprise or mistake...

"How do you know all this stuff?" I asked moving away from him and looking into his eyes instead, suddenly his eyes filled with worry

"Parents know everything..." He muttered

"Oh come on dad! You told me that when I was three years old! I think i'm mature enough now!" I threw my hands up in the air in annoyance

"It's the truth! When have I ever gone wrong?" He seemed satisfied when I grunted "now you better head back to the common room so you can get dressed then go to the great hall for breakfast"

"OK, see you later dad!" I kissed him on the cheek quickly, but he then grabbed me by the arm

"Forgetting something?" And he presented me with the roses from Fred

"Oh, thanks dad" I rolled my eyes sarcastically

I headed out of the dungeons but when I reached the top and looked out the window in the hallway I saw it was still dark. I groaned but decided I should go for a little walk instead, I climbed some staircases until I got to the seventh floor in which the room of requirement lived.

The eerie darkness flooded the hallway but died slighty with the glow of the torches on the wall, I walked slowly through the darkness being ever so careful because I didn't want to trip. I walked for a while longer around the seventh floor (taking delibrate circles around the pillars) when I got so engrossed that I slipped on some water, and of course I slipped didn't I?
