"Where is it again?" You sighed as your elbows supported your tired frame.
"Svalbard, Norway." Fury repeated, sliding a closed file toward you from across the table. "I've said that seven times now."
"She's not going." Tony smiled, sliding the file back towards Fury as he stood behind you with one hand on the back of your chair. "Sorry man."
Fury raised his eyebrow and sat back, crossing his arms over his chest. "She's capable of making her own decisions."
"But she is my wife, so we make decisions together."
"No we don't." You muttered under your breath, rubbing your cold hands frustratedly over your face. "I'll do it."
Tony scoffed incredulously moving to stand beside you, holding his hand out. "Hello, my name is Anthony, your husband."
"No kidding."
"(Y/n), you could die!"
"I could die on any mission Tony."
"Yeah but I'm not with you on this one!"
"Good! You're too protective."
"I'm not!"
"YOU DUCT TAPED ME TO THE WALL IN WAKANDA!"
"W-what? I didn't- I would not–" Tony nervously chuckled, switching between glances from you to Fury. Finally, he broke. "YOU WERE NOT COOPERATING!"
"HELL YEAH, I WAS DOING MY JOB AND YOU FREAKING TACK ME TO THE WALL! YOU EXPECT ME TO BE OKAY WITH THAT?!"
"WELL, YEAH."
"SHUT YOUR MOUTHS OR I STAPLE YOU BOTH TO THE WALL." Fury barked. "I swear I can't ever get the two of you in the same room without having to hear out an argument."
"I'll take this mission." You nod, standing up.
"You leave tonight." Fury replies following suit.
"Um no." Tony laughs, grabbing your arm as you turn around to leave. "You aren't going anywhere."
"You aren't my father, you aren't my guardian, you aren't my supervising officer, you aren't my director, and you aren't me. You don't get to make my every choice. Innocent lives are at stake."
