8. Your Baby Falls Asleep On Them

Tony:
"Hey (y/n)!" You heard Tony whisper-shout from the living room. You were in the kitchen preparing the formula milk for your infant when you heard Tony call for you.
You quickly screwed the lid on top of the bottle and shook it as you walked outside.
What you saw almost made you drop the milk.
Tony was laid down on the couch with your child resting (his/her) body on his chest. Tony's hand was gently placed on the child's back, stroking (him/her).
Your eyes began to water and you held to bottle to your lips so your husband wouldn't notice your quivering lip.
"Oh c'mon babe, don't go hormonal on me!" He joked in a whisper, slowly placing a kiss on the side of the baby's head.

Steve:
Your head rested on Steve's shoulder as he held your month old child in his arms. Steve smiled down at the small child, holding (him/her) ever so gently.
"Baby," Steve whispered to you.
"Hmm?"
"Look at (him/her) yawn!"
You both watched as (he/she) stretched (his/her) small arm above (his/her) head, and (his/her) mouth made a small 'o' shape.
You laughed softly.
"She looks like you when she does that! The nose scrunching up and everything!"
"My darlin'" Steve marveled over the small child. "I love you both so much,"
"We love you too," you smiled. "I'll go get (his/her) blanket," you whispered to Steve who nodded his head and smiled.
You went downstairs, and when you came back up, you heard a soft snoring. Slowly creaking the door open, your baby was on Steve's chest, and Steve was laid down, the blanket covering the both of them. As you placed the blanket on a chair and neared the bed, both of their mouths were open, emitting hushed snores.
You smiled and kissed both of them on the cheeks, and got into bed. Before turning the lamp out, you made sure the blanket was covering them and admired the sight again. The small babe on the strong muscular chest of your bigger babe who was holding (him/her) under the butt so (he/she) wouldn't roll off. It was all it took to give you sweet dreams.

Thor:
Thor helped you bathe your infant, since you were still weary from weeks of lost sleep.
After the bath, Thor wrapped (him/her) in a towel and brought (him/her) outside to your bed. You followed behind them with the lotion, powder, diaper, diaper cream, and pajamas.
"My (boy/girl) why must you have the appearance of a (prince/princess)? My people will take you back to Asgard believing you are their royalty! But you are ours!" Thor smiled tickling (his/her) stomach.
"Darling, come here!" Thor exclaimed.
You walked over and stood next to him and Thor pointed out cheek dimples that sculpted into the baby's cheek every time (he/she) smiled or talked.
You laughed and ran your finger over (his/her) cheek.
After your child was ready for bed, Thor and you read (him/her) a bedtime story.
By the end of the story (he/she) was asleep on Thor's chest on (his/her) back, (his/her) middle and ring finger was in (his/her) mouth.
Thor chuckled softly as he flipped (him/her) over so (he/she) was on (his/her) stomach.
"Sweet dreams my little (prince/princess)" Thor whispered.
He looked over to you, but you were already asleep on his shoulder. He smiles and shut off the lamp.
"Good night my (other) princess,"

Clint:
"(Y/n) look," Clint laughed.
You sat in front of him on the floor and watched as he moved your guys' child's arms to do the whip and nae nae.
"Really, Clint?"
"Yes really," He smirked. "Now watch (him/her) do the Carlton,"
You leaned back and watched your husband make your child do dance moves- the poor babe didn't even understand what was going on.
"Honey, (he/she) is falling asleep!"
Between the dance moves, you could see you child's eyes drooping and their head falling, but quickly snapping back up.
"Jesus," Clint laughed out as he finally laid the baby in his lap. "I guess I tired (him/her) out, huh?"
"Is this why you wanted a child?" you laughed. "So you can make (him/her) do what you can't?"
"No!" He laughed taking your hand in his. He slowly brought it to his lips and placed a small kiss on your knuckles. "But are you implying I can't dance?"
You raise your eyebrows and shrug.
"What is-" He pauses and imitates you. "Supposed to mean? Yes?!"
You raise your eyebrows and shrug again.
Clint stared you down for a minute before finally saying, "You're probably right anyways,"
You laughed as Clint got up and laid down on the couch, placing the child on his chest. He patted the space next to him for you to come and sleep next to him, and you obliged.
"Feel like watching something?" He asked.
"How about Daddy Daycare?" You laughed.

Bruce:
Poor Bruce was always afraid of hurting your adopted child. He was scared if (he/she) slept between you both, and if he had a nightmare and hulked out, he would hurt the child. He wouldn't even let you keep the crib in your guys' room. He never even laid down next to (him/her) unless he had to for certain reasons.

Pietro:
Pietro is a marathon sleeper and it wasn't an uncommon sight to see your small infant asleep on his chest. But you couldn't resist the urge to 'aww' out loud, and even if you were wide awake, you couldn't resist the urge to snuggle beside them and fall asleep again.

Natasha:
Natasha loved kids, but she didn't think it was a good idea to adopt. She was scared of the lifestyle the child would face- both parents that are constantly battling enemies with the possibility of death on any mission. She feared that a child would be an easy target for HYDRA and she couldn't risk a baby's life like that. Instead, she chose to babysit Tony's kid, and as she was putting (him/her) to sleep, you spotted her in your guys' room as she pulled the baby onto her torso, softly humming, stroking the child's back.

Hey guys! Sorry if this sucked, I posted three chapters in a row, thought might as well finish writing and post this one too even though it's really late here. Anyway, I had fun writing this, and I hope it isn't as bad as I think it is😂
