Ash's POV
I can still feel my cheeks burning from embarrassment as I ran out of the room and into the kitchen.
I'm pretty sure I still look like a tomato right now.
As I step into what seems like my Aunt's living room, my eyes widened as I took a look in my surroundings.
There were holes in the walls, the dining table and the television were broken into pieces, and almost all the furniture was destroyed.
Oh, Xander.
I saw Dawn, Aunt Marie Jane's mate, cleaning up the broken glass that fell on the floor, picking up the broken wood, and basically trying to fix the whole damn kitchen and living room.
Wait, isn't Aunt Marie Jane a witch? Can't she just clean this whole room with a snap of her fingers or something?
Dawn must've noticed my presence coz he stopped whatever he was doing, turned around and greeted me with a smile.
"Good morning, Ash. How are you feeling?"
"I'm good. Thanks Dawn." I replied politely.
He continues cleaning the room and I stifled a laugh as I saw him having difficulty in fixing the hole in the wall.
"What's so funny, Ash?" Dawn said, narrowing his eyes as if he was silently trying to tell me why I was laughing.
"You heard me?" I asked, shocked.
"Well, I am a werewolf after all." He told me with an 'are-you-kidding-me' face.
I look up to him, challenge clear in my eyes, and spoke to him with pure confidence.
"You do know that your mate is a witch and that she can just clean all this with a spell or something." I titled my head to the side, raised an eyebrow to him, placed my hand on my hip, and tapped my foot on the ground, telling him that he's the stupid one and not me.
You should've seen his face. He looked like a deer caught in the headlights. I just grinned at him, knowing that it might piss him off.
He dropped the broom he was holding and told me not to tell anyone about this, seriousness swirling in his eyes.
I was about to answer back when I heard my Aunt enter the room.
She rose her hand, spoke some foreign language or whatever, and viola! The room was clean and fix in just a second.
I looked at Dawn, silently laughing at how ridiculous he looked on trying to clean the whole damn room.
He just narrowed his eyes on me, telling me to shut up. I didn't. I just kept chuckling.
My Aunt then turned to me and I greeted her with a big smile on my face. I am a morning person after all.
"Good morning Aunt! How was your sleep?"
She didn't say anything though. She just stared at me with those brown eyes. She raised her eyebrow and folded her hands on her chest.
What did I do now? Why is she looking at me as if I did something bad?
