Ash's POV

We stayed under the tree for another hour, just casually talking, before standing up and going back to our "training center."

Xander held my hand all throughout the walk, which caused small butterflies in my stomach.

I can actually quite feel his emotions right now, but not fully yet since I haven't marked him.

I mean, I want to.

But I just don't think I'm ready for that step so I'm glad he understood me.

I looked up in the sky as we continue to walk, gazing at the stars as each uniquely twinkle and shine throughout the shadowy night.

I sighed. This is it.

I have to prepare.

In a few minutes or hours, I'm going to face my wolf and I'm going to control her once and for all.

Soon, we saw Aunt Marie Jane casually sitting on a bench in the middle of the woods.

I didn't remember having that bench there.

I shrugged. Maybe she used magic?

Who knows anyways?

I saw her stand up and approach us, giving me a tight bear hug.

"How are you, Ash? Have you sorted things out?" She asked me and broke the hug to look at me.

I can't help the smile on my face ever since Xander marked me.

I nodded eagerly, grinning like an idiot.

I saw her blew out a breath of relief. "You ready?" She asked.

I smirked at her. "Ready as I'll ever be." I answered back, confidence emerging through me.

She then narrowed her eyes at us and tilted her head on the side, looking between me and Xander, as if inspecting us.

"Did something happen in there that I should know?" She asked, smirking.

I blushed deeply and tore my gaze from hers, embarrassed.

I mean, I am really glad that Xander has already marked me, but the way Aunt Marie Jane said it made me quite embarrassed.

I then touched my mark, the pain already gone from my fast healing and looked at Xander, smiling slightly.

He smiled back at me and puts his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

I heard a small gasp and looked at my Aunt.

"Don't tell me you're marked already!" She squealed like a little girl, jumping slightly from excitement.

I looked again at Xander and we both chuckled before telling her that yes, he has marked me already.

"How about you Alpha? How come I don't see a mark bite yet?" Aunt Marie suddenly asked, looking at Xander's neck.

My eyes widened and an awkward silence falls shortly after that.

Xander cleared his throat. "She... uhhh... She needs more time." He stiffly said, making my heart sink.

Does he want me to mark him already?
