Xander's POV

"It's Ten o'clock, Alpha." She stuttered.

And that's where all hell broke loose.

I saw my mate, who was asleep just seconds ago, open her eyes, which were now a pale snow white push me off of her.

I saw her land on the ground rather swiftly.

My eyes subsequently widened at the sight of my mate.

Sh*t. Isn't this is the time where she'll shift and hunt wolves? At least that's what she told me.

"You have to get out of here! Now!" Ash shouted, her voice shaking the whole forest and making Marie Jane cringe.

"What do we do?!" I asked Marie Jane.

But before she could answer my question, I saw my mate, Ash, shift into her wolf.

Wow, is all I could say.

This is actually the first time that I've seen her wolf and I must say that I am impressed.

She has a pure white wolf with azure blue and flaming red streaks all over her fur, her eyes also turning a pale white.

I stayed there in place, just admiring the beauty of my mate for a second.

But it was all cut off by the sound of Ash's wolf howling and dangerously charging towards me in a fast pace I did not even know she had.

I quickly moved to the side in ease, swiftly dodging her attack.

I shifted to my wolf, my thick grey fur meeting with Ash's pure white fur with red and blue streaks, our wolves meeting each other for the first time.

Of course I was much larger and stronger than her wolf, considering that I'm an Alpha and she's just a female wolf, but still, I didn't want to hurt her in any way.

I think me dodging her attack made her angrier because I heard her growl dangerously loud and went ahead and charged towards Marie Jane instead.

I then pushed my four paws and also ran towards her, trying to save Marie Jane's life.

Before Ash can reach her though, I saw Marie Jane say some spells and pointed at Ash, creating some sort of a bubble around Ash, not being able to attack any of us.

Ash then went and charged towards the bubble, trying to break free from it and acting really wildly.

I shifted back to my human form. "What're we gonna do?" I asked Marie Jane.

"This bubble is not going to hold her, Alpha. It's probably going to break in minutes so we have to move now." Marie Jane said, starting to run away.

I grabbed her arm and stopped her. "I can't leave my mate alone! She might get killed!" I exclaimed, obviously not wanting to leave my mate.

"If we don't go now, Alpha, we'll be the one who'll get killed! Remember, Ash's wolf will not stop until she gets what she wants. And right now, all she wants is blood." Marie Jane sternly said, quickly grabbing my arm and gesturing me to return to the pack house right away.
