Ash's POV

My eyes widened at the sound of the voice. It can't be. He can't possibly witness me killing those innocent wolves.

I noticed that he was probably at back of the room, meaning that I can't see him since he was staying behind me.

Nervousness filled in me and I just wished that this night would just end.

Quick, think of something. I mumbled to myself.

I then decided to just pretend to sleep, hoping that he would just leave, thinking that I'm already asleep.

"I know you're awake, Ash." He sighed and I felt him come closer.

Still closing my eyes, I felt him move, his body slumping down on the small space on the couch I was currently lying down on.

I gulped, slowly opening my eyes, and finally sat up to face him.

My eyes were met with deep blue oceanic eyes that I still haven't grown used to. Those eyes that made my knees weak. Those eyes that usually hold strong emotions.

"Had fun?" He said, a smirk appearing on his face. But I could see in those oceanic eyes of his that he wasn't the least happy about what he just found about me. It was clouded with emotions that made my heart sunk.

I didn't bother responding. How could I? I mean, he just saw me kill those wolves!

So I decided to play the clueless card on him.

"What do you mean?" I told him, tilting my head to the side and showing my best innocent face.

"You know what I mean." He said, his eyes narrowing at me.

I gulped again and removed my gaze from him.

"I mean, believe me when I say that I'm proud to see my mate being so strong and fierce. But why kill those wolves? Are they your enemy? Someone you hold grudges against? Do you even know them?" He slowly added the last part, looking at me closely.

When I didn't respond, he probably got the picture that I did kill those wolves for no reason.

Is satisfying my wolf a good enough reason for killing those wolves? Heck no.

"You killed them to satisfy your wolf?" He suddenly said, disbelief clear in his voice.

My eyes widened and I snapped my head towards his direction, confused on how he knew about it. Who told him? As far as I know, I'm the only one who knows about this.

He shrugged. "You said it out loud." He replied casually.

Damn it. I usually do have a tendency on blurting out the things I want to say.

I avoided his gaze again and looked at the ground again, watching my toes.

Silence came after that and I couldn't be more thankful.

I then felt myself yawn, signalizing that I really am sleepy.

I heard him sigh and stood up.

He suddenly carried me in his arms as if I weigh nothing and started to walk out of the room.
