Ash's POV
I was still angry and slightly heartbroken at Xander for not trusting me enough.
I quickly pulled my arm away from him and crossed my arm on my chests, avoiding his gaze.
"What's wrong with you right now?" He whined, making me even more furious than I already am.
Does he not know what he did to me?
I abruptly stopped walking and looked at him, my arms still crossed on my chest.
"What's wrong with me? Are you seriously that insensitive to not know what you did?" I raised my voice at him and huffed, starting to walk ahead of him and not bothering to hear his response.
I quickly found Aunt Marie Jane's scent in the living room and I hurriedly walked towards her, sighing once I reach her and plopped down on the empty space on the couch beside her, me sitting on her right.
I ran my hands through my hair, trying to get rid of the frustration Xander made me feel and looked at my Aunt, giving her a tight smile.
"How are you?" I asked her, trying to smile politely even though I'm really pissed at Xander right now.
Just then, the monster itself went inside the living room and sat on the left side of Aunt Marie Jane, which I am thankful for. I am so not in the mood to sit beside him or whatsoever.
I glared at Xander and he did the same. He narrowed his eyes at me and I just huffed and looked back at my Aunt.
She looked between me and Xander, raising an eyebrow at us.
I cleared my throat. "How are you, Aunt. Are you feeling better?" I asked her again, gritting my teeth, my anger still not subsiding.
"I presume you two had a fight?" Aunt Marie Jane said with a knowing look on her face.
My eyes slightly widened but I remained silent, wordlessly shooting daggers to Xander.
I heard Aunt Marie Jane sigh before standing up.
Me and Xander however, remained in our seat, still glaring at each other.
I don't even know why he's angry at me. Shouldn't I be the one who's angry and not him?
I heard a snap of fingers and looked at my Aunt, her hands on her hip. "Well, are we going to train or not?" She asked.
I huffed and muttered a yes before standing up and following her, with Xander trailing behind.
The walk to the woods was accompanied by silence. None of us uttering a word which I'm grateful for since I still do not want to see or hear about that freakin' Alpha.
Fifteen minutes later, here we are again, our training center or what I want to call it.
I stood in front of my Aunt and Xander and took a deep breath.
Okay, you have to focus now, Ash. Don't think about that Alpha. Concentrate.
"I'm ready Aunt." I told her, slightly nodding my head and not daring to make eye contact with the monster.
