Ash's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, relieved that I was able to sleep peacefully after that haunting nightmare.

I looked at my right and saw my mate also sleeping soundly, his plump lips slightly apart, soft snores echoing throughout the room.

I sighed. I could just stare at him all day.

I looked at our legs and saw that it was intertwined and I suddenly blushed at our bodies contacting intimately.

I looked at my mate again, having the urge to run my hands through his beach blond hair that was currently blocking his gorgeous face.

Well, what could possibly be go wrong? He wouldn't know anyway.

I extended my hand and oh so carefully pushed my mate's beach blonde locks to the side to see his flawless face.

He was breathtaking.

But before I could stare any longer, his eyes suddenly opened, those deep blue eyes meeting mine and a smile forming on his face.

"Good morning. Had fun staring?" He smirked, his voice in a sexy husky tone.

My eyes widened and I gulped and muttered a good morning before sitting up on the bed and excusing myself to go to the bathroom, not wanting to embarrass myself even more and also for him not to smell my morning breath.

I quickly fixed my hair and gargled some mouthwash before going out.

Xander was currently resting on his elbows and staring at me.

I sat on the edge of the bed and also looked at him.

"How are you?" He asked.

My heart fluttered a little bit at his caring side, butterflies swarming my stomach.

"I-I'm feeling better. Thanks to you." I said, smiling slightly.

I looked at the clock and saw that it was just seven in the morning.

I smiled. It's still early.

Xander chuckled lightly, embracing me for a moment, his body heat relaxing me and I unconsciously lean onto his arms.

"I actually asked Alex to take you shopping today." He suddenly said.

I groaned. I don't wanna go shopping. Not now and not ever.

My feet hurt from all the walking we'll have to eventually do and I don't think me and Alex actually have the same style.

"I don't wanna go." I whined, pouting my lips to Xander.

I heard him growl lowly before placing his thumbs on my bottom lip, parting it slightly.

I quickly closed my lips before anything happens resulting to him laughing slightly.
