Ash's POV

I woke up feeling energized as ever.

Wow, I really needed that nap. I sat up on the bed and looked around and noticed that I was in Xander's bedroom.

I sighed and went to lie down on the bed again, hugging the pillows and smelling them, loving it.

I looked at the clock and saw that it was almost five in the afternoon, meaning that I've slept for about five to six hours. No wonder I feel energized.

My stomach suddenly grumbled, indicating that I haven't eaten lunch.

I sat up on the bed again, preparing to leave the room to make myself some food.

"How are you?"

I let out a loud shriek and threw the pillow to the origin of the voice, my heart beating fast.

I heard Xander laugh and approach the bed, sitting on the edge, still laughing at me.

I glared at him."Do you really have to sneak up on me like that?"

"I didn't mean to scare you, Ash." Xander said, still laughing.

"Excuse me, but what do you think you're doing here? Haven't you heard that a girl needs her privacy?" I glared at him, narrowing my eyes and placing my hands on my chest.

He stopped laughing and looked at me for a moment.

"Last time I checked, this was my bedroom, mate." Xander oh so cleverly back fired, smirking at me.

Oh.

Damn it. He is right. I'm so stupid!

I sat there speechless, not knowing what to say.

He just laughed again. This is actually one of those rare moments where Xander becomes care free and laugh like there's no problem and just acts silly.

I love this side of him since he's usually that strict and emotionless Alpha everyone knows.

I sighed and stood up, preparing to leave the room to eat something.

However, I felt Xander hold my hand, pulling me back rather roughly, which resulted to me letting a small shriek and me landing on his lap.

I glared at me. "What did you do that for?"

He went closer and kissed my nose. "You look so cute when you're angry." He told me.

I rolled my eyes at him, ignoring the giddy feeling of him kissing me on the nose and stood up again.

Xander also stood up, holding my hand. "Come, let's eat. I bet you're hungry." He looked down at me.

Just then, my stomach grumbled and my eyes widened, a blush creeping on my neck from embarrassment.

He chuckled. "I'll take that as a yes."

We then exited the room, our hands still intertwined and headed to the kitchen.
