Ash's POV
Ten minutes passed and Xander was still holding me in his arms and telling me how beautiful I am and how lucky he is to have me as a mate.
I couldn't help the butterflies in me as he murmur more sweet statements and just stare at me like In was his world.
"Excuse me love birds but we still have unfinished businesses with Ash." My Aunt said, ruining the moment.
I heard Xander sigh and finally put me down and remove his arms around me. I suddenly missed the warmth he was giving me and longed for more.
He looked at me one more time before saying goodbye, with Dawn following after him. They closed the door and here I was again, with my Aunt.
Stay calm, Ash. Stay calm. I reminded myself.
I took a deep breath and looked at my Aunt.
"I'm sorry for making you hyperventilate. I didn't mean it." She started off, with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"It's okay, I only have that occasionally." I reassured her, not wanting her to feel bad of herself.
"So... you kill wolves, yes?" She asked me.
I took a deep breath and gulped.
"Y-yes..."
She didn't answer for a moment so I decided to tell her what I have been feeling.
"I don't know what's happening to me Aunt. I'm scared. I always seem to have this thirst for blood every night ever since I was young. I can't help myself but kill wolves to be satisfied. My wolf has always been violent and being the chosen one and having this mask only made it even more violent that she already is. How do I stop this curse? Please, I am not proud of what I did, I really am not." I tried explaining to her.
She nodded at me but didn't say anything.
I was getting impatient and frustrated since I thought she was here to help me and not ignore me.
I ran my hands through my hair and waited for her to speak.
She finally did after a moment, but what she said had me in shock.
"That's normal, dear." She said, almost sounding in pain.
I gasped. What does she mean normal? Like it's normal to kill wolves? What the hell?
