Sabastion Pov*

A soon as the four stranger broke the clearing my body screamed for me to run. The one standing closes to me eyes mirrored my own, his aura cased a powerful purple cloud that engulfed the area around him. I pushed myself through the unfamiliar grounds straying far away from the place me and Roman parted ways. My mind told me to stop for the small chance that Roman would return but my body would not allow it sensing the threat. A feeling that I have not felt in days sprung up from the void and slammed into my body, hungry. And it pulled all of the muscles in my stomach into a tight ball. All the energy that had carried me thus far was gone in an instant evident by my body's collapsing.

Turning over onto my back, I stared at the sky. I had no idea when my body would allow me to move again, and I found myself not caring. A familiar pair of wings began to hover above my head. The Falcon was back and he was finally getting what he wanted. Weightless, it dropped onto my chest and approached my head. I closing my eyes, I accepted my fate. Life was not worth living if I'm my older brother was not with me. There were far to many monsters in this world for me to fair it alone.
The Falcon cawed on my chest calling for my attention. Opening my eyes I and found the creature just staring at me, it's eyes like small black orbs took me in. It was truly a beautiful creature, its black feathers all falling in place perfectly. Opening its beak it screeched before it took back off into the sky.
I moved to sit up when emptied stomach roared again.
This would be my final resting place.

The snake man would come sniff me out and devour me and there was nothing in my power that could change that. I accepted death. I knew it was bound to come sooner or later. My father was a demon. A group of people hunted my race in order to eradicate us.
The world hasn't been kind to me.
My brother abandoned me,
And with that thought My eyes welled up with tears, I tried to raise my hand to my face to whip away the shame that was sure ensue, with little luck. My body was unmoving. As the tears streamed down my face, and I grew angry. Why was I born into a world where my entire race was hated. The human fear what they cannot control. And I, Sabastion Neeva would never bend my knee to a human. Images of my run in with Godbrothers over the years replayed in my mind causing tears increase. My father had forsaken-ed me from the day me put his seed in my mother. He must have known what he was creating. A light shower sprinkled my face from the heavens above, washing my tears away with it. I opened my mouth in hope of catching some of the water but a slight breeze pushed every ounce from me. My body began to buzz a feeling I had not felt since I was a kid and my tears stopped almost instantly.
"Hello Father" My body wouldn't allow me to move but I was sure he was here. Bachard my father fell from the sky and landed right beside me. He hadn't changed at all since I last saw him. His dark grey eyes stared down at me. The lightning flashing at a constant rate inside them made him look even more powerful then he was.
"Sabastion, My boy, You've been starving yourself as of late" He flopped down on the ground beside me and kept his face natural.
"I had not noticed until now, do you need something?" I again tried to sit up with little success.
"A little birdy told me you were feeling, down on yourself. I'd thought Id step into to uplift you." He racked a hand back through his hair and laid down beside me positioned so his feet were by my head. "You are special Sabastion, never be mistaken in that. Your mother was one of the best water priests in the land did you know that?" An image of my mother in her ceremonial dress flashed into my head. Her hair always braided back into a French braid that fell long down her back. Her extra pale skin made her black hair and blue eyes more noticeable.
"I knew she was a priest, I didn't know she was known throughout the land if that is what your asking" More images of my mother began to spring from my memory.
"She was indeed special which caught my attention."
"If she never caught your attention she'd still be alive."
"And you wouldn't be here" Bechard responded. He was right.
"Umhm." I responded, A new memory popped up into my head one I tried extremely hard to bury. My mother and I were inside of our home when a knock on the door brought my moms attention to the group of people outside our door. The men all wore white cloaks that hid their faces. My mother face swelled up with fear and she directed me to a hole in the floor under our kitchen table. A slight crack in the floor allowed me to see the front door. My mother opened the door and man with silver hair that stood up in all angels from his head stared my mother in her face. A small scar ran from his eye all the way down his lip. His eyes looked past my mother examining our home.
