"Are you going to just lay there" My imaginary friend was back standing over me. I sat up and the smell of citrus and salt let me know I was back in my dream world.

"I guess a night of unruptured sleep was too much to ask for?" I reached for his hand and he helped me from the ground. A black tattoo cupped his wrist that seemed to drift all the way up his arm.

"I'm not the one who calls you here, you come on your own decor." My eyes began to search the rest of his arm wondering where the rest of the tattoo led to when he pulled his hand back suddenly.

"I hear you." I knocked the dust off my of pants and began to search the sky. Last time I was here it had begun to rain, but today the sky was beyond clear lightening not even showing its face.

"Hey, answer me this." I took a step forward to stand by my friend's side and waited for him to turn to me.

"What's your name and what is this place?" A smile began to pull at the corner of his mouth while his eyes began to twinkle with amusement.

"My name is whatever you choose, that also goes along with this place." He then turned his back on me and began to head towards the huge body of water I could only assume was a lake.

"Are you capable of giving a straight answer?" I rushed to keep pace with him.

"I feel like you should be able to read between the lines." he made a sharp turn and began to head toward the tree with the strange engraving.

"But if you can not read between the lines my actions would do a better job of showing you better then my words ever will." He stopped at the tree and turned to me. I stopped short behind him and waited for the actions that would speak louder than his words.

"Your actions seem to be you just standing there"The figment of my imagination cocked his head to the side and watched me with his intense green eyes.

"Would you like me to move?" The corners of his mouth began to turn up again into a smile. Running a hand through my hair I took a deep breath.

"Yes, nameless person I would like you to move" He did not attempt to hide his smile this time taking a big step to his right revealing the strange engraving on the tree bark.

"Is that supposed to tell me something?" My feet began to pull me closer to the strange engraving. As the symbols began to come into better view my heart beat started to speed up. Carved into the wood with the craftsmanship of little kid who had no business handling a knife. One of my early memories before things were turned upside down. Me and Alex had carved our initials into the tree along with a vow that we would never leave each other sides. A vow that I had broken.

"Okay, I know what this tree is, but how does that tell me what you are and what this place is?" I My fingers traced the rough carving in the tree and I winced at the thought of not going with Alex when he wanted to leave. Maybe if I had gone with him he wouldn't be the person he is now.

"You have much to remember Azari." He walked up and placed a hand on my shoulder and a jolt of lightning rushed from his palm. Before I could turn to face him I was snatched from my dream. Zae stood at the opening of my tent eyes trained on me.

"Is there a certain reason you are standing over me?"

"We have a visitor, be ready for trouble.", He spun on his heels and began to head to a location I could only assume was the fire pit. Pushing myself from my tent I exited to find something I had never seen in my life. A creamy white owl standing about 10 feet tall sat on a log. His feathers were a mixture of his creamy complexion and silver. A truly beautiful creature. As I began to approach his eyes snapped from my siblings onto me and he cocked his head.
