"Azari." I heard a voice call out to me. A voice I had never heard before but it instantly calmed me. Small droplets of rain began to follow on my face as watched the clouds rumble and roll above. It wasn't raining when Alex and I were talking. Me and Alex.
I open my eyes and jump to my feet. Running a hand over my eyes to clear them as I checked my surroundings. I was beside a lake, the wind brushed the water onto the shore. It smelled like a storm in the air. I wanted to be alert, but my body wouldn't let me. This was a perfect paradise. I must have been dead."You look so much like me." I whirled around powers ready to hit whatever was behind me, but I stopped, All the energy I had gather dissipated in a instant. I was looking in a mirror, but I wasn't. Standing before me was a man in his late thirties, he was fit without the heavy muscles. He had hair down his back like mine, the only difference was the two strands that hung loosely over his forehead. His eyes were a harsh grey with flashes lightening constantly flickering.
"My son you look upon me like you don't know who I am." A deep smile formed on his lips as he got closer to me.
"I don't" I checked his aura and was almost knocked off my feet, this man was my Father.
"I'm your Father, Bechard, the ruler of storm," he continued smiling, as he got closer to me. There was much confidence in they way he walked.
"My father was Jo.." before the words could exit my mouth he cut me off.
"As so I've been told, Your mother lied to you for her reasons but you are of my own blood. You can feel it can't you. You're on edge but at peace am I right?" His smile dropped and he watched me like a teacher would watch their students work.
"You and your family are very powerful." He said as he reached out to me. Without a moment's hesitation, I stepped out of range before he touched me.
"Are you the reason he left?" I asked as rage began to form in my stomach.
"Pardon?" Bechard question.
"Alex, are you the reason he left?" I asked again, unable to hid the angry brewing inside of me. Something seemed to click as Bechard ran a hand through his hair.
That was creepy.
"The first time I laid eyes on your brother was a week ago, Leading into that you and your brother's existence were unknown to me." Bechard said taking a step in my direction. "He was scared when he first arrived here, Yet you stand in my face like a man. I like that, Son." His face showed pure pride.
None of this made sense, but on the same note it did. My siblings and I didn't share main characters and our power diversity would make sense if we each had our own demonic parent."How didn't you know we existed if you and our mother, " I paused stuttering over my words. "You know" I finished feeling entirely to awkward about this situation. A puzzled look clouded Bechard's features as he ingestioned my words.
"I've had the pleasure of bedding a number of beautiful women, but your mother wasn't one of them. You and your brother are immaculate conceptions, but we can dove into that when we meet. I'm afraid we don't have much time." Bernard said taking step in my direction.
Immaculate conception?
"Wait, wait what?" I question hold my hands up to stop his approach.
"There are great powers at work Azari, they sponged my mind clean of any memory of you and your brother, they're also keeping me from appearing before you in person.""Why would they do that?"
"I'm still attempting to figure that out now." Bechard responded. Raking another hand through his hair.
Yeah this is creepy.
"Regardless, I have you here now, and I need you to listen, You, Alex and the rest of your siblings are a beings that shouldn't exist, and the fact that you do mean the prophecy is unfolding."
Prophecy?
"Which is unfortunate, because as you are now, you don't stand a chance against for the battles to come. Seek me out, bring Alex with you and I will prepare you the trials to come." Bechard said.
Reaching his hand out my father drew something on my face. My skin began to tingle when he removed his hand.
"What did you just do?" I reached up to where he touched my face, but nothing was there.
"In good time." He smiled one more time before he bleeped out.
