Xandra shot forward, trying to intercept Lucas, but it was too late. Not giving her the chance to speak, The green aura flooded the ground around him. I moved myself in front of Scarlet and Mal.

"Who is this?" Shadow stepped around me and pulled his book from his side. The tips of his hair begin to turn white as his body begin to radiate a dark aura I had yet to see from him. I didn't have to see his eyes to know they had transformed. I opened my mouth to respond when Zae flung himself into the air, wings riding the breeze that he created as he rose. Xandra had reached her brother and words seemed to be exchanged before he moved her to the side and leveled his eyes on me. Raising my chin I stared back at him.

"You brought more demons here and brainwashed my sister into thinking you are the children of the prophecy, don't make me laugh." Lucas reached for his blade on his hip but soon realized it had been destroyed during our last encounter. Which only seemed to enrage him all the more. Zae looked down to me from the skies.

"Brother?" The statement came out in a question that all I could do was nod my head to answer.

"And you," He leveled his hand at Zae with the same intense rage blaring in his eyes.

"You ally yourself with demons, why?"

"I would advise you to watch your tone," Zae said as he lowered himself to the ground in front of all of us, spreading his wings out to his sides he radiated a power I had not seen on him before. Shadow snapped his fingers and appeared behind Xandra and her brother nestled in a tree, waiting for the cue to attack.

"Are your wings supposed to scare me, Son of Michael." With the mention of Zae's father, his wings seemed to lose some of their confidence. I glanced down at my younger siblings who seemed to be itching for the fight that was to come.

"Protect her," I said to Mal who looked at me and nodded accepting his role with pride.

Scarlet frowned her face up and looked me dead in the face."I don't need protecting Azari."

A smile crept to my lips as I turned to face the Lucas."Protect Mal then." I called over my shoulder. Mal yelled out in protest as I stepped around Zae's wings. Sabastion was on my heels eyes trained on Lucas whose aura still made its way towards us. Then without warning, it stopped. Xandra withdrew her hand from the back of his neck while Lucas laid crumbled on the ground. Everyone's mouth fell open as Xandra crossed her arms over her chest clearly agitated with her brother's actions."Let me speak dufus."

Scarlet hooped and holler from her position at the rear."You tell him girl!"

Lucas rose from the ground with a scowl on his face. He turned to face his sister ready to put up a fuss.

"No, you listen. I've been living and training with them for the last month, they aren't what you think they are, they actually have an interesting story of their origin if you care to listen." He looked between us then back to her.

"I don't care to listen to demons," Xandra reached out and smacked his face drawing a silence that seemed to last an eon.

"What was that for?" He rose his hand up to his face full of rage.

"They aren't what you think they are brother." This only seemed to stir the pot all the more. Raising a hand to me he pointed a finger that I felt jab my chest even though he was well away from me.

"He almost killed me, or have you forgotten that already?" Zae's head turned to look at me. I stepped forward feeling the need to plead my case.

"You attacked me first, and had every attention of killing me."
