The pathway leading to the kingdom had grown over. If it had not been for Sabastian navigation, we would have been well off the path. Without even realizing it I had begun to block Scarlet's voice out, she rambled a lot when she wasn't with Mal, most of the time about nothing.

"Azari are you listening to me?" Raising my eyes from the ground, I slid my head to look at my baby sister. It was a good thing Xandra was sending us to get new gear, Scarlet's shirt was revealing enough of her belly causes a small flame of anger to burst into my stomach and her pants wore so short that the top of her socks were visible to the entire world.

"Yeah, I'm listening." Raising my eyes back to the path ahead I prepared myself for the information I would be assaulted with.

"What type of clothes do you think Xandra, prepared for us? It better be cute otherwise Lucas won't even look in my direction." I stopped in my tracks with the mention of Lucas. Scarlet slammed into my back.

"What did you just say?" Turning to face my little sister, who rubbed her hand across her nose annoyed by my sudden stop.

"What? I can't look nice for Lucas?" Dropping her hands to her side, we begin to have a stare off I wasn't sure I could win.

"No, you can't look nice for Lucas, first off your 13 and shouldn't worry about boys. Secondly, He's decades, shit, maybe even centuries older than you." Not daring to blink I stared down on Scarlet who also refused to blink. Blowing her chest up she opened her mouth to respond,

"First off, I turn 14 in three months, Secondly I can look nice for who I want to, thirdly Xandra's is the same age as Lucas and nobody says anything to you for drooling after her, Lastly, Mind your own business." As she deflated her chest but didn't even dare taking her eyes off of me.

"You are my business, and no one drools after Xandra." Sebastian made himself known at this point, letting out a laugh I had yet to hear from him he quickly tried to mask it, but it was too late. Never breaking eye contact with Scarlet, I yelled over to Sabastian.

"What are you laughing at?" Sabastian, clearing his throat and started walking again, a smile spread across his face as he responded to the question.

"Nothing,"

Scarlet finally blinked and rolled her eyes.

"We're wasting time here. Let's getting moving." She stepped around me and caught up with Sabastian, blonde hair blowing in the wind.

"Hey, I'm not done talking yet." My baby sister didn't even glance over her shoulder as I yelled after her. Could I still call her my baby sister? Quicken my pace I caught up to my two companions.

"Well finish this discussion later." Reaching my hand out to touch Scarlet shoulder who pulled away from me before I could make contact. A silence descendent on the path as Sebastian navigated us toward the Kingdom. The sound of water started to wash out the sound of my footsteps on the way. The smell of salt and algae-filled the air. Scarlet rose her head and the sky and took in the scent. A smile beamed onto her face as she quickened her pace again.

"The land of the waves should be right through the tree's." said Sebastian who hadn't quickened his step at all. Scarlet turned to Sebastian smiling ear to ear.

"How aren't you excited, can't you feel the power of the water flowing through your bones?" Raising her head again she pulled in another deep breath, exhaling it slowly. Sebastian shook his head responded.

"I can feel it, but my powers don't haul from the Sea, The storm fuels me." Sebastian raised a hand in front of him and pulled the water from the air into a little sphere. Clearing missing something I opened my mouth to ask the question that bumped around in my head.
