Shadow pov:
They would pay. I vow to myself. One of the Soldiers met me in the air. He seemed the be riding the air the same way that Zae did.Zae...
"You seem to be quite powerful, no matter this is where you lose your life" shifting his weight forward he charged me. With the snap of my fingers, I phased out of the line of his attack. Appearing behind him I pulled on my new powers. I would suck this one into my palm before he had the chance to attack.
"Gotta be faster than that demon." Swing his blades around he managed to gash my hand. The cut caused a pain like no other to surge up my arm. Snapping my fingers again I phased onto the ground. The enemy landed beside me with his blades held out in front of him. Raising from the ground I charged him. Keeping my palms open I continued to try and swallow him into my palms. He dodged every attack gracefully. Stopping my assault I tried to read the situation.
"You aren't strong enough to challenge me yet boy.""Regardless, I will defeat you." Reaching for the scroll on my hip. As soon as my hand made contact with it a book formed.
"You are going to kill me with a book?" My eyes begin to scan the pages looking for anything that would help. The words slowly started to decipher themselves on the page. Reading the words out loud power begin to surge throughout my body. The wound on my hand begin to close up and my vision sharpened.
"You think I'm just going to wait ideally by and wait for you to finish your spell? You are sadly mistaken."
The book transformed into a staff and I caught the mans attack off the hilt. Taking the power boost I just gained I attacked. My powers started to flare off of my body, a body that no longer moved on my own instructions.
"You definitely gained some type of power boast, but you still have fallen short" Pushing both of his feet into my chest he lunched himself off of me. While in midair his cloak flew from him revealing a chiseled body with war scars running up and down his arms.
"Witness true strength demon." The blades in his hand begin to glow as the wind started to funnel around the guy.
Slamming the staff into the ground I phased into the air behind the solider."You stand no chance, I am Leon, Tiger of the Wind, leader of the 9th battalion." Raising one hand up to the tiger I begin to pull him into my palm.
"This trick again?"
I found my voice for the first time in the fight."A pen is mightier than the sword." Leon body phased into my palm. It wouldn't be much longer before there was nothing left of him. A movement to my right caused me to lose focus. The vortex on my hand closed up with the lack of a target. I begin to scan the area around me and found Leon on the ground with one of his comrades beside him. Where his right arm should have been a bloody stump hung from his shoulder.
"You let the demon damage you?" The man who clearly appeared to be the leader lifted Leon from the ground.
"Arch-guards, Finish up your tasks Leon has been injured we have to return to Vatican, " He sneered the last part. I wouldn't let them escape. With a snap of my finger, I phased behind the man known as Luther.
"Just like him, You over estimate your powers" A force blasted into my chest sending me flying across the field. I snapped my fingers moments before I would have slammed into the tree. I was transported to a place I was not familiar with. A tall building stood before me a flag with a skeleton Jackel head flew from the top of the building. I rose from the ground and took in the rest of my surroundings. There was no sun in the sky, which caused the ground to be shrouded in darkness.
"I see we have a vistor." I man appeared beside me. His facial features masked by the darkness. I snapped my fingers to teleport back but the power must have been over used because I didn't go anywhere.
