Love and Tragedy.

Chapter 8

Alex

I talked to Robbins and she said she would do the surgery for us but we would have to choose between the two options we already got before. As much as I wanted to be this baby's dad and for him to be healthy and happy, I couldn't loose Jo. I needed her to do the surgery to get the baby out.

Jo 

I woke up in the apartment alone I got dressed and headed to the hospital. I was on Hunts service today and so far there wasn't a lot of work to do sadly. I was doing charts when I got paged by Alex to an on call room. 

When I got to the room Alex was waiting on the bed. I sat down next to him "You should do the surgery." Alex said "Alex." I started when he cut me off "Please Jo, please." he pleaded and the sound in his voice killed me. "I need you Jo."  I didn't want this baby to go but at the same time I also wanted to live I wanted a family with Alex. "Fine." I stated. "I'll get the surgery." 

Time Skip

Jo

I laid in the hospital bed waiting to go into surgery and Alex walked in and sat next to me and held my hand. "You're going to be okay." he said and kissed my hand "I know." I said looking at him "If this baby doesn't make it I'm sorry." I said the tears coming. "hey it's okay if this baby doesn't make it were going to be fine." I said. 

Robbins came in and told us it was time Alex walked with us all the way to the door "I love you." he said "I love you too." I said back and we rolled into the operating room. Once I got all settled on the table Robbins talked to me "Were going to take great care of you and you son." she said smiling at me "I know. Please try to save him." I said not wanting my son to die "and if I die please do everything to save this baby so Alex isn't alone." I said looking her in the eye "were going to do everything we can." she said "now you know the drill." "5,4,3" and the darkness.

Alex 

I sat in the waiting room with Jackson, Mer was in with Jo because I wanted her working on the baby since I couldn't and Arizona was working on Jo. I could only imagine what was going on in there and my mind was racing with questions. I was probably freaking out more than I should've been but I couldn't help it.

Arizona 

We got the baby out and Jo was bleeding a lot. "Dr. Grey hows the baby." I asked hoping to get some good news. "Doing good actually I'm going to bring her into the other OR where Dr. Sheperds waiting." she said. "Okay." I said sighing in relief for the baby.

She moved her out of the OR and I continued to work on Jo. I was glad the baby was doing fine but I was scared for Jo.
