Alex

It has been a day since the funeral and the baby's been stable since then and I think Robbins is going to let me take her home today. I still haven't come up with her name I have one in mind I just don't know if it's right. Anyways Robbins should be around soon for rounds and hopefully I can go home with baby Karev!

"hey Alex!" I heard Robbins cheery voice "Robbins! Can we go home?" I asked eagerly "Wow. Eager today aren't we?" Robbins said laughing "I just want to take my baby home." I said sighing "Okay well lets check her out." she said.

She started checking everything and always with a smile on her face with just made me want to find out even more if I could take my little girl home.

"Alex you can take your baby home today!" she said smiling "Thank god." I said sighing ready to take our baby home.

Robbins left knowing that I knew how to unhook all the things connected to her. After I took everything off of her and and dressed her in an outfit Meredith have me that was Ellis' when she was little. It was big but I didn't have much since I hadn't been really anywhere out of this hospital. I strapped the baby in her car seat and I picked it up and started to walk to the parking lot when I realized I didn't have a car there.

I paged Mer and waited for her in the waiting room. I saw her and her face lit up when she saw me or more like when she saw the baby, "You're taking her home!" she said excitedly "Yeah Robbins let her go today, but I don't have a way to go home." I told her "Oh here take these, there Maggie's car keys she can get a ride home from me." she said handing me Maggie's keys.

I strapped the baby in the car and went to the drivers seat and sat there for a minute I then started the car and drove home. I got home and unstrapped the baby from the car, I walked up stairs to the apartment and unlocked and opened the door.

I walked inside and I saw that the baby was asleep, so I decided to put her in her crib. I put her in the crib and noticed it was a little boy's crib and I made a mental note to myself to by her a new crib.  She stird a little bit but went right back to sleep.

I walked back to my bed a sat on it. I looked around our apartment, my apartment, I saw things that reminded me of her, everything reminded me of her this whole apartment did. I laid down and realized she would never lay next to me again ever.

I feel asleep thinking about her.
