Chapter 20

Alex

The kids had eaten and were now playing again upstairs when I heated the door bell.

I walked to the door and opened it. "Hey!" I said hugging Arizona "come in its pouring." I told her "hey! How was it?" She asked "great! She was great." I said I looked to the car and saw Cali inside and I waved.

"You and Cali?" I asked "we're good again, I think we're going to be good for a long time." She said looking happy. "We're talking about having another child." She whispered to me "that's amazing Robbins!" I exclaimed "your the first person I've told so don't go running your mouth okay?" She chuckled "my lips are sealed." I told her.

"Sophia! Your moms here!" I yelled she's upstairs with the other kids. "How are you?" She asked "good" I said with a toothless grin "don't play dumb Alex." She told me "I'm fine. Don't worry." I told her "okay but I'm always here if you want to talk." She said "I know." I said nodding my head.

Footsteps came running down the stairs "hey princess!" Arizona said and Sophia came up and gave her a hug.

"Okay well I'll see you tomorrow." She called leaving "see you!" I yelled to her as I closed the door.

I walked up the stairs to see Ellis and Addy playing in Ellis's room and I decided to let them play a little longer. I checked all the other rooms and didn't find Zola or Bailey, I then walked down stairs to the basement to see if they were in Zola or my room since our bedrooms were in the basement.

I walked down to see them sitting in Zolas room on her rug. "Hey guys time to get ready for bed. What are you two doing?" I asked and walked over to them sitting down next to them. Bailey handed me a picture of a bunch of us  very long time "Where looking at pictures. Bailey asked to see some of the people we talked about today." Zola told me.

The picture was of us in the bar celebrating one of my birthdays, I was standing next to Mer who was standing next to Derek who was standing next to Mark, then Lexie, then there was George, and Izzie. Christina was standing in front of me and Mer bending her knees a little bit. 

I smiled at the picture they passed me some others including a picture of Mer in the wedding dress Izzie picked which ended up being hers another picture of me holding Bailey pulling silly faces at him and one of me, mer, christina, george, and Izzie all smiling next to each other.

"Okay we can look at these more tomorrow. It's time for bed, your mom would kill me if she knew you weren't asleep." I told then messing up baileys hair. "Come on lets go ,lets go." I told them clapping my hands and they giggled and ran to the bathroom. 

I went back up stairs and helped Ellis and Addy into the bath I started for them, I washed both of their hairs and then went to grab towels. "Okay first Ellis." I said and she got up and I wrapped her up in the towel and picked her up pretending she was a plane and she giggled.

I then got her dressed in pj's and tucked her into bed giving her a kiss on the top of her head and turning off the lights. I then got another towel and did the same with Addy, I clothed her in her pj's and I laid her down in her bed. 

"I love you Addy." I told her "I love you daddy." she told me back "I love you the most." "I love you the mostest, I win daddy!" "Fine whatever, but I love you the most." I told her giving her a kiss on the top of her head "Good night baby." "Good night daddy." she said closing her eyes.

I went down stairs and poured me a glass of bourbon and I grabbed a box of photos that me and Mer still didn't want to unbox. I opened the box and the first picture I saw was a picture of Mark and Lexie standing in front of a Christmas tree the next one was of me and Mer at mine and Izzis wedding then another at mine and Jo's. 

I went through the pictures and drinks pretty quickly, the drinks faster than the pictures. When the door opened and closed I was pretty drunk, "hey." Meredith said sitting next to me on the couch "I opened the box." I said "I see that. Your drunk to." she stated "Yep."

She started looking at the pictures and then got up and poured herself a glass of wine. "Amelia is pregnant." she stated "Again?" I asked confused "Alex this is only her and Owens second." she said giving me a chuckle "oh yeah right." I said.

"Cali and Arizona might have another baby." I told her "But I'm not supposed to tell anyone so shhhhhhh." I stated We both laughed. 

We sat together on the rug of the family room looking at pictures and reminiscing about the past and how much we love and miss it.

"You're nothing like your father, you're a good dad Alex." she told me "Any you're nothing like your mother, you're the best mom." I told her and she gave me a smile going back to another photo and me doing the same.

Here's two chapters since I have been gone so long! Sorry about that by the way I have been way busy and I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with this story but I'm trying to keep it going!

In this story I really want to remember all the people we have lost and I am trying to do my best to keep this story interesting I just have been having really bad writers block with this story, but I am here putting out two new chapters for you guys!
